This place is beautiful, top of the Athletic building tried
This place is beautiful, top of the Athletic building tried to get a bit and drink for lunch but it was a long wait with no reservation. We were able to grab a seat at bar and drinks and then take them to deck. Deck had an amazing view of the lake front & millennial park. The bar tenders and staff were so nice and accommodating. I recommend a reservation cause the food looked amazing. Till next time!

Would definitely come back next time we're in Chicago! Came here from a local recommendation on our last day and I'm glad we did. We sat at the bar and had chicken and waffles and the quiche. Both were very good. We had bloody Mary's that had just the right amount of spice. Before finding a spot at the bar we waited on the outdoor patio that had a great rooftop view of the Bean. This was nice considering it was under construction when we were visiting and couldn't see it otherwise. Overall a really cute place with good food and drinks and a view. What more could you ask for!
Be the first to ReplyCindy's rooftop is the best place to take people from out
Cindy's rooftop is the best place to take people from out of town or go on a date. Incredible views of the bean from the rooftop and really nice drinks. Especially in the summer when the weather is nice, you have to take your friends and family to this rooftop for views and drinks. Honestly so much better to see the bean from here rather the crowds surrounding it! The mojito was so refreshing
Be the first to ReplyExpensive but beautiful rooftop and views.
The Ragu entree and mozzarella app were worth ordering.

Beautiful rooftop restaurant in an amazing location! Reservation is recommended, it gets very crowded. The food is amazing and completely fresh. All the food is homemade in house and heavenly. Amazing experience and very happy I ended up dining here

What a great spot for lunch! The weather was nice and we got to enjoy the view. We had some great drinks at the bar and then were seated soon after. The food was great quality and super delicious. I was extremely impressed by the French fries. Hands down some of the best I've ever had. The sandwich was great. They also gave me a mini birthday dessert which I appreciated. The bartender was very friendly and we talked to him a bit. Superb!

Meh! Hostess and waitress service is ; "meh"! In turn, the bartender service is good. Drinks are good. Food is "meh" and (in my opinion) the food is overpriced for what it is . Would I go back ? Maybe.
Be the first to ReplyI'll give another star for the service because the waitress
I'll give another star for the service because the waitress was very sweet. But DO NOT come here between 2:30-5pm bc that's their snack bar menu which was ridiculous. There were five options and i kid you not for $14 I got 2 half cut carrots and 2-3 celery sticks with garlic hummus. And my girlfriend got a bowl of chips for $7 which had less than a bag of snack-sized Doritos. I should've taken a picture of the food but was so disappointed of how overpriced it all was I didn't bother lol The view was cool but I don't think it's ever worth the price of eating there. I'm not sure if everyone else who gave this restaurant 5 stars got money to burn but I sure don't.
Be the first to ReplyAverage is a good way to describe this place.
If you are from Chicago or live here don't waste your time. If you're visiting by all means go, it's probably close to where you're staying anyway. The view is ok, there's definitely better, the drinks are good but over priced, they know the tourist are gonna pay for them. The place is always packed so it's not that enjoyable. However the Chicago athletic club is awesome! The bar downstairs is a great back up.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic experience.
Dined with our two kids (8 and 6) this winter while touring the city for the weekend and it was great... amazing atmosphere (including outdoor rooftop bar overlooking Millennium park with open fire pits), excellent service and very good food. They even had a kids menu (not advertised) that our kids utilized. We made a reservation (recommend doing) and will go back again. We had their tomahawk steak and it was stellar!!
Be the first to ReplyThis high floor venue has beautiful views of Michigan
This high floor venue has beautiful views of Michigan Avenue, the lake, Millenium Park, and I think the Art Institute. I came in the evening for dinner with a group of friends. It was hard to see the details of the views in the evening, but the city night views were great. I ordered a seafood salad and was expecting lettuce or some greens. It was basically bits of seafood soaked in dressing. The portion size was for a very thin person. The staff was not wearing masks. There was a popular bar area. The atmosphere was amazing.

A bit touristy but a classy staff and great drinks compliment that view in a nice way. Food is solid.

I only recommend going for drinks and to see the view - both were great! However, the food and service were bad. The quantities were very small, even the large order of all the dishes wasn't much. Everyone only got a bite of each dish. The seafood platter (appetizer) was disappointing - the oysters were bitter, there were really small portions of crab, small lobster tails, it was all cold and flavorless. The sweet potato rigatoni was undercooked. The pork chop was small and dry. And the waiter was making rude comments and rushing us through our expensive meal. The side of potatoes were good, and the cocktails were good, but not worth the price for dinner.
Be the first to ReplyAn absolutely incredibly location.
They have a patio where you can see the Bean! So of course my friend and I took the photo opportunity! It's such a cute, trendy, restaurant. The latte was delicious and the drinks were very unique. The food was good and the service was great! We had 2-3 different people assisting us throughout our lunch. Such a cute restaurant!
Be the first to ReplyGreat ambiance & view.
Friendly service. Food is fresh & tasty but be prepared to lay down some cash on your meal! I had the smoked salmon on bagel, nothing else on the plate, with a cup of coffee. With tip $36. Not going to restaurants that often anymore, too costly. Plus, I'm tired of having to pay a service charge for using my charge card. If a clothing store did that - everyone would go ballistic, why do restaurants get away with fee after fee...

Beautiful vibey rooftop overlooking Millenium park and the lake; really great food. Awesome place for a nice breakfast.

Delicious drinks & food with super knowledgeable staff! We came here for Happy Hour / Midday (available from 2:30pm to 5pm). Their bar snack menu is not the largest but the quality is great. We ordered the "Local Cheese & Charcuterie" defined on the menu as: Chef's Selection of Local Cured Meats, Cheeses, House Pickles, Jam, Grilled Bread. The variety of cured meats were tasty, cheese selection was savory and had a good selection of hard and soft cheeses. Bread was fresh and warm. Their cocktails and beverages are where they really shine through! We ordered a variety of drinks ranging from Bloody Mary, to white wine, to fruity in season cocktails. They also have a great dining area with lots of natural light, and comfortable chairs. Not to mention the nice deck outside that you can see the Bean from! Gorgeous views while enjoying artisanal food & drinks with friends.
Be the first to ReplyService was terrible.
We called ahead of time to find out what time they close. We arrived 30 min before closing to grab a dessert and they wouldn't let us upstairs in the restaurant at all
Be the first to ReplyThe drinks were delicious.
The expandable drink menu has something for everyone. The views were amazing.
Be the first to ReplyEasy to make reservations.
Not the easiest to find, we walked past the building so just make sure you're paying attention. Good food, decent drinks. Nice vibe, especially the fire pits on the outdoor space.
Be the first to ReplyBar tenders were some of the rudest I have ever met.
Bad Karma! Got a drink and left because the experience was so terrible. Nice view but that was it. I would never go back.
Be the first to ReplyMy wife and I went to Cindy's Rooftop for our anniversary.
She had wanted to go for some time. I had no idea what to expect other than there being a great view from the top of the building overlooking the downtown. That did not disappoint. The view of the Bean, the skyline, Lake Michigan was awesome. We started with the avocado toast, which was wonderful. The two of us easily split one order. The size was perfect. For dinner we ordered the WHOLE GRILLED FISH and QUESO FUNDIDO for dinner. To be honest, both were mediocre. We found the the fish to be a bit fishy and tasteless. The queso was overflowing with ingredients and missing enough cheese that I was looking for. We also found the menu limiting. Overall service was good, but we figured we would be offered a desert for our anniversary but no offer was made. Oh well. I'm still giving the restaurant 3 stars for its ambiance and amazing view. I would come back with a larger group, but not on a date with my wife. I

Listen, you can't come to Chicago and not visit the legendary Cindy's--that would be a disgrace. Please trust me on this; it's a complete feast for the senses, not just for you to put in your mouth.Elegant and romantic without being stuffy, and cozy without being subdued. There's something for the adventurers and something for the folks in the mood for comfort food. Every chef, bartender and server takes tangible pride in your experience; you can see it wherever you look. Attention to detail is over the top.A gorgeous balcony with intimate seating and amazing views; a skylight and whimsical main dining area; a chic fireplace in the side dining room; a meticulously curated bar--everything in your line of sight here encourages you to linger and to savor. The cocktails are inventive and refreshing--not just in an herbaceous way--they have taken me by surprise with every drink. It's hard to pick a favorite from what I've tried, but even when sampling my usual suspects (a French 75 for example, or a Gin Fizz), there was a moment of revelation with the first sip that you can rarely find when ordering an old favorite. They're just artisans and alchemists, that's all there is to it.
Be the first to ReplyNo substitutions and limited Vegan Keto options.
I hear the fries are good but I'd rather of had a salad substitute. Burger is really good! Nice view in the balcony.
