We went into the city during a warrior game and after 2 rooftop bars we got hungry, Casey's was in the area, open & serviced us well. We ate our pizza while watching the warrior game at the bar. The ambiance was great, not loud, not too busy. Really just perfect for our group of 3. Would definitely recommend if in the area!

Living in Mission Bay, it's nice to have a neighborhood pizza spot and Casey's Pizza hits the mark! I've never eaten there but every time I walk in to grab my order to go, the smell is heavenly and the staff is friendly and efficient. I love the East Coast Pie if I'm feeling like meat but I love the simplicity of the Margherita pizza. The cesesar salad was good, but the dressing was lemon forward which I found to be slightly overpowering. I wish they would be open for lunch but as of now, only open in the late afternoon/evening.

The best pizza in SF! If you are in Mission Bay for a game I highly recommend this place. The best pizza I've ever had is from Pasty's off 116th and 1st Ave in NY. This is very comparable. Even better.
Be the first to ReplyCosy, authentic and trendy.
The service is fast and friendly. The pizza is fresh and delicious. Kid friendly. Great energy. My second time there. Will be back - a lot! Recommend!

A good friend of mine calls this "the best pizza in California." He wasn't wrong...because shortly after, this place was nominated as one of the top pizzerias in the US (https://www.sfgate.com/food/article/sf-pizzerias-ranked-50-top-pizza-us-18177831.php) The portions are decent. The pizzas seem to be made one by one because it took some time for them to come out. Make sure you account for the time it takes, especially during peak hours. Lively ambiance - we usually grab a pizza here then head to New Belgium.
Be the first to ReplySat at counter.
Ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza, coke and glass of wine. Nice ambience; good food. Only a few tables plus counter. Seems to do a good take out menu. Lots of pizza options for whole pies. Would recommend.

Wanted to try this place for a while as I've regularly passed it on my way to work. Ordered a Funghi pizza for takeout via website and asked for no onions. They kept the onions and removed the garlic. Tried calling to see if something could be done about it but the phone number listed on the website has a full inbox. Disappointing to say the least given that the pizza was almost $40. EDIT: Even though I couldn't get in contact by phone, Casey was prompt on staying top of this so I wanted to update my review accordingly. Will be sure to come back and try this place soon!

They serve various neopolitan style pizzas that sound interesting, but are a bit pricey. I got myself a Hot Pie which includes pepperoni, feta, Mike's hot honey, peppers, and basil. The pizza dough was flavorful, crisp, and a bit chewy when the pizza was fresh out the oven. But leave it for a bit and the crust becomes more tiring to eat. The peppers tasted like pickled jalapenos. It was one of the only ingredients that didn't get lost in the pizza. I wouldn't even be able to tell if there was a drizzle of Mike's hot honey. The feta might be my favorite part of the pizza, but it was sparingly dolloped so not every slice had it. For close to $40 a pizza, it might be good to try once.

We're new to the neighborhood and this was our first time Uber Eats order finding you, and we were impressed with the quality of the Caesar salad, pizza toppings, dough flavor, and freshness upon delivery. Definitely will be back!
Be the first to ReplyI read that Casey's Pizza was one of the best pizza places
I read that Casey's Pizza was one of the best pizza places in San Francisco, so we stopped in after a Giants game. It's in a part of San Francisco with a lot of newer construction. The pizza was solid, nothing spectacular. I was expecting NY style, but I thought it was more of a standard wood fired pizza. The beers were good, the service was good, the facility clean.

Be the first to ReplyA friend told me Casey's was the best pizza in SF.
Hearing that, I had to try Casey's. It was true, it is the best!

Casey's Pizza has some of the tastiest pizza I've ever had! We ordered half of the Zoe, and the other half the fennel sausage. It took a little bit to come out but it was soo fresh, crispy, and flavorful. They also have a great wine and beer selection. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

East Coast Pie, Bear Pie, Margherita! Some of my favorites so far. Caesar salad is yummy too! Casey's is fire! The owner is hella cool and really cares about his craft and customers! They also got a pretty cool beer selection. In a nutshell, they are putting out some excellent pizza!

Love Casey's! There aren't a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood, so it's great to know that the ones we do have are great, and this is one of them. My husband and I enjoy stopping in for a pie and beer - it's a relaxing place to hang out and we often get to chat with Casey who is super personable and clearly a staple with many people who live around and even work for him. This weekend we got pizza for pick up and it was just as good. Prepared quickly and solidly delicious. We will continue coming back!

We called in our order of 3 pizzas on a Saturday evening and they were ready within 15 minutes! We ordered the Margherita ($23), Hot Pie ($28), and Popeye ($25). All hot pies/pizzas were thinner, which I enjoy! The edges were thin and crispy but definitely eat it hot or it'll get chewy/stale. - Margherita ($23) This was decent, nothing particularly stood out. Wish there was more basil. 7.5/10- Hot Pie ($28) Although I don't typically go for pepperoni or jalapeรฑo on my pizza, I liked that the pepperoni edges were crispy and curled up. 7/10- Popeye ($25) My favorite one! The roasted spinach was a good combo with the goat cheese and mozzarella, which I've never tried before! Loved the amount of crispy spinach, which didn't leave that weird tongue texture resulting from eating too much spinach. The goat cheese was very soft and the slight balsamic drizzle was a nice touch. 8/10

Love the open kitchen concept where you see the chef doing their magic and smelling that wonderful aroma from the pizza cooking. The restaurant has both outside and inside seating with plenty of room to have a group of friends attend. I usually like a menu for pizzerias to be limited because it shows they are specialists in those items. We got the Bear Pizza based on the manager's recommendation since I asked for something "popular and unique". We did takeout. Took us 15 min to get home. The pizza was still fresh with plenty of toppings. The pizza is beautiful to the eyes with its spectrum of colors and layers of ingredients. You can taste the freshness and in-house ingredients. The flavor is unique to other pizzas in the city. The crust has a nice crust and chews to it. Overall pretty good. I would do a date for a light grab of pizza and walk around the neighborhood.
Be the first to ReplyThis was our favorite neighborhood pizza spot when we lived
This was our favorite neighborhood pizza spot when we lived in Mission Bay. Its got a cool minimalistic hipster chic design that suits the new vibe of the neighborhood. It has an open kitchen and bar with some booth/table seating and an outdoor patio area in front. We went back recently to check on the owner, Casey, a really cool guy that seemed to always be at his business. He had some amazing hot chili oil that he would serve with the pies, so one could dip their crust afterwards. Low key we went in with hopes in mind to see Casey and indulge in some oily crusts with a beer. Sadly, there was no Casey on a Saturday night. Actually was glad to see the guy take a break while having a good business running, so that cheered me up right away. The pies my fiancรฉ and I liked were still on the menu and we got straight to it. I must say, the pizza is fast and good. Not cheap, but fast and good. Remember friends, ya can't have all three (fast, good, cheap) only 2/3 lol. The staff there are all very kind people and are on top of their game. The only thing that kept me from a 5 star review is that there was chili oil no more. In fact the server didn't have a clue what I was referring to. He looked at me really puzzled, pointed to the jar of chili flakes and said "We have this, but I bring you some hot honey" which I obliged, even tho I thought it was almost tradition, or maybe its just ours, to have some salted or hot olive oil and maybe a drop or two of vinegar with the crusts. Considering this is a high end pizza joint, one would hope for all the various side toppings one may find in a traditional East Coast pizzeria like jars of: granulated garlic, Italian dried herbs, chili pepper, and olive oil. We will still be back, and hopefully this post can inspire Casey to bring back the chili oil. PLEASEEE!!
Be the first to ReplyCasey's pizza is a delicious, under-rated neighborhood spot
Casey's pizza is a delicious, under-rated neighborhood spot that deserves 5 stars! Love the creative pies and how all the flavors blend together (favorites are spicy) as well as their traditional options, wine selection, and always-friendly customer service. Crust is amazing. It's not easy working in the food industry and everyone I've encountered have always been friendly and smiling. Please open for lunch!

In short = Casey's is LEGIT!Casey and his team make you feel like you're a part of the neighborhood/family! Some go to favorites are - Lil' Gem Caesar Salad, Burrata, Bear Pie, Spicy Pie, Arugula Pie, and Fennel Sausage Pie. The wine selection, often rivals local wine bars (believe me, I'm at those spots on the weekly as well)! If Casey is still offering Dashe Zin & Dashe Red Blend - do it!!!!Casey is hospitable, friendly, and so down to Earth. There aren't a lot of places that the owner makes you feel like home, but Casey more than delivers on this front. Delicious. Fun. Friendly. Quality.
Be the first to ReplyCute place to eat, It's a hidden gem.
I ordered the pizza with arugula and a bottle of Roลe and Cesar salad. Food was good - my friend and I enjoyed it. Great customer service in a lovely neighborhood.
Be the first to ReplyManager totally unhelpful when trying to order slice to go.
Pizza marginal and definitely not worth it.
