Overpriced
This was my second time at the restaurant after going a couple of years ago when i loved the meal. The second time was a completely different experience. The prices were eye wateringly high a meal for 2 with one small starter each and a main with the cheapest wine available came to 400 euros. The food was just okay for me the steak was a little bland and not worth the money. It is a lovely setting but the prices are simply not worth it.
Be the first to ReplyLovely setting and great (albeit expensive) food
We visited Casa Maca for dinner and the setting is beautiful. Everything we ate was delicious. Prices were high even for Ibiza. The portion sizes for starters were generous, in hindsight we should have shared a starter. We order a main from the specials and we’re surprised when we received the bill that one prawn cost €80. We’re glad we went but wouldn’t rush back because of the cost.

Only after your initial reservation the cancellation fee of 150€ pp will become clear. Later you have to read your confirmation well to understand there is a (not specified) minimum spend in your 2 hour reservation. On the spot this turns out to be 150€ pp (written off from your credit card upfront in some cases), whilst the location and the cancellation fee make it practically impossible to step away from a rather expensive dinner. The food is nice but not extraordinary, which classification applies without any doubt for the pirces of the winelist. Below average housewine is 75€ and most other bottles are about 300-800€ or far far more expensive. Never seen such an aggressive business model in any restaurant anywhere in the world before.
Be the first to ReplyGood but pricy
It was very tasty food but I felt it was a little bit over priced. Also the cheapest white wine on the menu was 80 euro so going there with a group of friend could become very pricy… having that said, the quality is very good and the surrounding is amazing to experience
Be the first to ReplyGreat Crowd and food
I can understand why many leave low reviews for the deposit/ minimum charge. The place is pricey but if you’re not ready to pay just dont go. Great atmosphere, great crowd, the sea food was great. Steak was ok. Desert was perfect we got the Lemon white chocolate and lemon corn.

Two young people meat of the day for two people without mentioning a price. And then serve a steak a 1300gr Price 546 euros!!!! Scandalous They can't afford that at all. And then 1300 gr for 2 persons.... Scammmmm.

Came here for fullmoon dinner and absolutely loved it. What an amazing service. What amazing food. What an atmosphere! Really a one of a kind place. It has a certain pricetag though- we paid 600€ for three people but it was worth every euro. Go for it!
Be the first to ReplyTourist trap
Overpriced food which wasn’t even good. Meat was cold, not seasoned and at least 50€ for 150 grams. Like, come one. Filet steak or entrecote isn’t al of a sudden more expensive when you put it on a bbq. The view is great, but you shouldn’t be paying 26€ for a simple cocktail and 15€ for bread and aioli anywhere in the world.
Be the first to ReplyIt’s an absolute scam
First of all location, you expect to arrive in a wild farm place but you are actually sitting about 300m from the highway looking at the factory of Ibiza but let’s say I did not do my homework Now the absolute scam, the service. The guy who serve you your 582€ dinner for 2 (which is more or less the bill in a 3 star Ducasse restaurant) is at limit of politeness with heavy heavy joke like : - where is the restroom : « there it’s just 2 km » - what advice do you advice petrus You order a cote de boeuf if we did not check randomly 2 min later the guy had actually taken the initiative to order the Wagyu meat that is 450€/kg, as if everyone in the restaurant randomly orders the wagyu. So basically they made sure to stuff you as many crap as they can Its not bad but about 10 times the price and in a crappy location compared to say places like Ses Boques
Be the first to ReplyNever again
they are thieves, scammers .. food nothing special, wine was ok, very high, and false bill. € 700 account with € 130 of 8 shots of which 4 were not those requested, ie tequila patron. so after dinner, I go to ask for an explanation for the bill and they tell me that he is the patron, I take a shot not drunk by a friend of mine and I have the confirmation that it was not so. after several minutes of discussion they had to take us away .. never again .. rude and fake
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
Disappointing. We had been there for dinner last year and it was an amazing experience. We returned now with the highest expectation, but unfortunately it was mostly a big disappointment. The spot lost most of the atmosphere and vibe and it looks a different place with the previous tented area being closed. Service was ok to poor. The music ended soon. To be fair the food was great. But then, the price…while booking we were informed about a minimum cost of eur 150 per person which was immediately charged. At the end of the meal as our party’s cost was under that, we ‘needed’ to spend more just like that as they wouldn’t return nothing. What an awkward situation. Not to return.
Be the first to ReplyTo expensive not value for money !!
Meat was good but minimum charge of 150 euros per was to bad !!! We finish dinner bill was 750 € but we had paid on the CC 900 € so we had to take drinks to equally the debit on the card , Stange situation , Neve happend before Last year nice atmosphere and ambience this year to expensive and abusive , Do not recomend
Be the first to ReplyThere are better places to experience
So overpriced for what it is worth. Cheapest bottle of wine is €70!. We ordered the grilled fish of the day which was like a cold flip flop. The waiter seemed embarrassed . Such a sad disappointment... Also have to say that there is no childs option at all. Maybe they don't want to encourage families to eat there but come on Casa Maca! You can do better!
Be the first to ReplyWORTH IT!!
I can understand why people don’t choose to go because of the huge deposit before even getting there, because I was the same, but it really is worth it…
We were half an hour early and there’s nowhere nearby to go for drinks before, so we just thought we’d order drinks there and hang about, very exclusive venue, nothing like anything I’ve ever been to so it was already worth the visit.
As we were one of the first to arrive, the staff were so welcoming and good with us, especially our 1 year old daughter, treating her to a bowl of ice cream before her main meal (she’s on holiday!!)
We then got seated and the menu was pretty much steak or fish of the day! Both looked beautiful on the barbecue but we had our hearts set on the tomahawk to share, medium rare, I usually order rare but medium rare was perfectly cooked so it was a winner! We also ordered truffle mash, corn on the cob & chips (we thought they were fries but they’re crisps, our fault) and everything was wonderful.
Overall, a lovely setting, exceptional food, good drinks and great welcoming!
We’ll be back
Memorable Moonlit Meal
Although Casa Maca was highly recommended, I was not sure what to expect as a solo diner but was not disappointed. A warm welcome and friendly service throughout the evening left a great impression. The food was excellent with a strong supporting wine list. The location lives up to its reputation - stunning views on a moonlit night were truly memorable. Very highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyDelicious dinner with an unrivalled view of Ibiza
We had arguably the best table in the restaurant, circular table seating 10 right on the front overlooking Ibiza old town. One of the best dining spots in Ibiza with delicious food to match. Recommend the truffled mash and burrata. Expensive but well worth it!

What a fantastic experience we had at the Casa Maca restaurant.
You have to pay a deposit of €100 per person to secure your booking which is deducted from your bill. Be careful on the drinks they're quite pricey, single gins are €20 and a bottle of water is €10.
If you plan to go there, don't eat throughout the day. Both of us walked out feeling pregnant! They aren't pretentious portion sizes like fancy restaurants in the UK, they are big! I would also suggest when having steak that one side is enough for above reason.
People tend to dress up really smart but you can go casual in jeans if you wish.
The venue itself is stunning! The smells of citronella and BBQ are delightful and the ambience throughout is really relaxing and vibey. They have an in-house DJ who does a great job and the music isn't too loud that you can't hear the person next to you.
Overall perfect evening and incredible experience. If you visit Ibiza make sure to go to Casa Maca.
