Very nice but very cramped
You book a 2 or 3 hour slot . The bar was packed and the seats and tables were very cramped together. The cocktails were very expensive and small . We wanted to order some food which has been advertised when we booked but due to them hosting a private event elsewhere they had suspended food sales. The staff, music and atmosphere was great .
Be the first to ReplyCan't wait to go back
Some friends took us here and what a great evening we had. Drinks were a bit on the expensive side, but it's London what do you expect? That said, they were worth it and the staff are friendly and entertaining. Can't wait to go back.
Be the first to ReplyGreat theme - style over substance on the drinks?
The setting of this bar is the standout here - we turned up without a booking so were lucky to be squeezed in for an hour upstairs. You really want to be booked in downstairs in the old underground station/air raid shelter. Great theming and wait staffed dressed up, menus etc. However the drinks are about £15 each and just not good cocktails. We had two drinks each - £90 inc service. That's quite a bill for an hour of not great drinks. Go for the atmosphere and the setting and make one drink last!
Be the first to ReplyGreat atmosphere
Arrived on time for our booking and got whisked straight in to the underground bar. All staff in character which added to the atmosphere of the place. Loved the newspaper menus but they were a bit hard to read in the dark! First cocktail, bramble, was pretty much undrinkable...very sour but managed to force it down as it was expensive. Second cocktail, lovely bunch of coconuts, was nice but mainly crushed ice. Third drink was a coke - didn't want to waste another £14! I've given Cahoots a 4 rating due to the decor, staff and atmosphere - it was a really good experience even if the drinks didn't live up to the surroundings.

What a gem of a find in the heart of London. Once you make your way down the stairs, prepare to be transported back in time for some exquisite cocktails in an unforgettable setting! Staff are in character and add a lovely touch that's round off a perfect evening!
Be the first to ReplyLoads of fun, a must for cocktail lovers
What a fun venue, we chanced without booking (Richard on the door was very friendly) was able to seat us within 10 minutes (but best to book) Venue is a speakeasy 1940 vibe, brilliant decor a fun list of cocktails and well informed staff.

Be the first to ReplyBlack market knees up. Or down?
Arrived at the entrance at 1.10pm for a 1.15pm brunch start. Booked bottomless cocktails for £300 for 4 of us. The brunch is meant to be 1.15pm till 3.15pm. By 1.40pm we were JUST walking down the entrance stairs where we got a tiny welcome drink. This is not Bottomless. I only managed 3 cocktails in our allotted time due to slow service. Food is gross. Really greasy sausage roll and Cornish pasty with a blueberry muffin. I couldn’t eat it after one bite. No live music (or we missed it) I’m not sure. Most of the entertainment was a really long and boring quiz. At 3.10pm we were told no more drink orders. I complained that we hadn’t sat down at our table until 1.45 and she said we could have one more drink. Cocktails are way too syrupy. Ultra sweet and four out of 6 choices were whisky based (I hate whisky) I was so looking forward to cahoots but it was not anything like I had expected and I left feeling unhappy with paying £300 for basically 4 yucky cocktails. Entertainment was poor. I wouldn’t return. Very disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyNext stop: fabulously fun birthday surprise!
I booked a table at Cahoots as a surprise for my partner who's really into all things Tube related (but secretly, I've wanted to go since hearing about it some years ago!). I'm so glad I did - the cocktails are absolutely delicious (especially the "Lovely Bunch of Coconuts", of which I happily enjoyed two). However, what really makes it is the staff - who clearly have very high standards of customer service, and literally could not do more to make sure we had a good time. It was a Saturday afternoon when we visited and they had a really talented live entertainer singing popular songs of the 1940s and good-humourdely roasting the audience in between numbers. It was such a great laugh! Another really nice touch was the hand written birthday card from the staff to my partner. It was a fantastic afternoon and we will definitely be back. Consider us Cahoots Converts!

The bar itself was really beautiful. Great decor, and completely hit the theme it was aiming for. Drinks were wonderful & would highly recommend the glazed sausages from the snack menu! Highlight of the night was by far the staff. Kieran, Frank & Lemon Tart (apologies, I could only remember your scoundrel name!!) were amazing. Attentive, friendly & knowledgeable. We honestly can’t thank them enough for the service they provided to us- a real credit to the venue! Would highly recommend to anyone in the area
Be the first to ReplyAwesome bartender
I went here after my booking with friends at the control room came to an end. Just wanted 2-3 drinks to kill some time. The Romanian bartender -sadly I can't think of his name atm, the one with the great moustache- became the highlight of my night. Not only did he make great cocktails, he gave great advise on drinks, made lovely conversation etc. Please give this guy a raise! Ofcourse all other staff was very polite and lovely as well. Might expand on this review later!
Be the first to ReplySuper fun and different!
Definitely a great spot for anyone visiting London, or hosting friends and family. My friends came to visit me and wanted to go somewhere 'different', and Cahoots fitted this perfectly. Definitely a fun experience and great selection of cocktails.
Be the first to ReplyNot To Be Missed!
Nipped in on Saturday with my daughter who recently turned 21. Young man at door ID her & congratulated her on her birthday. Menu is fab, printed on newspaper, very original. Decor actually took you back in time with a real wartime vibe. Ordered cocktails which were delicious & different from average. My daughter was given a birthday card which was a special momento for her to keep. A staff member styled in 40's came over to toast her happy birthday. Overall it had the absolute wow factor, we absolutely loved it & would say its not to be missed. Service was without fault & would like to thank staff very much for making my daughter feel special. Young man at door was simply fabulous.
Be the first to ReplyWhat a place !!
My daughter had been to the bar previously and told myself and my husband about it. On a trip to London we walked down Carnaby Street and as we walked passing Kingly Court she remembered the bar was around there. So we popped in wow ! It is an awesome decor, the cocktails are to die for and so different to your standard cocktail menu. The decor is a wartime Underground station some seats are from old tube trains, the lights flash occasionally to add to the vibe and old popular music from that era plays in the background the staff wear age appropriate clothing it's just brilliant. A wonderful experience even though I wasn't alive at the time and only heard stories of family going down stations during air raids. Would definitely go back there.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible service. Awful place.
Being told on arrival for a 5pm booking that we would only have until 6.30 really set the tone of the evening. I told the ‘hostess’ 3 times that I had made a booking. We were then told we had until 7pm which was not ideal but I could have lived with it if a) the service was good (it was terrible) and b) the waitress didn’t come over every 15 minutes to tell us we had an hour left, 45 minutes left, 30 minutes left etc each time interrupting our conversation. The place was half empty when at 6.45 they ‘graciously’ gave us a 30 minute extension like we’d just won the lottery. It’s just a basement bar with a dumb theme and delusions of grandeur. We won’t go again.
Be the first to ReplyBrilliant Atmosphere & Drinks
We booked in for a few cocktails on the weekend and must say the atmosphere and styling of the place was brilliant, the singer that was on Lois was brilliant to and really entertaining! Would definitely recommend!
Be the first to ReplyDisappointing
Looked forward to this after visiting Churchills warrooms in keeping with the day out.after waiting 30 minutes I finally got someones attention and ordered two drinks each just in case.i understand the darkness is part off the underground theme but needed my mobile phone light to read the menu..the choice is minimal and plain.the cocktails watery..staff not as dressed up as advertised. No atmosphere. We left after an hour😔
Be the first to ReplyNice idea.....but customer experience needs some work...
We came here as a group of 7 guys for some early evening drinks. We'd booked in advance, and were 5 minutes early for our booking. We were then made to stand in the bitter cold in an alleyway for nearly 20 minutes after our booked time - and we were told 'your waitress is sorting out a table, and will come and take you down'.....however, we got downstairs and the place was virtually empty. I have no idea why we were made to wait so long in the cold.
Once we were in, the decor is cool, the theme is clever. We were under the impression from the photos that 'Underground' meant we were in a carriage of some sort, but we were just on a normal coffee table in the corner of a basement. The theme was excellent - and I'd go again, but in the hope that initial welcome was less unfriendly and matter of fact. This is hospitality after all...
Great bar
Had a lovely evening here, it’s a quirky bar and there was lots of choice in cocktails on the drinks menu. The staff were all lovely and very attentive.

We booked to squiffy picnic and we enjoyed it.
Good food and drinks, lovely atmosphere, great entertainment, very well decorated, staff were very friendly.
The experience was enjoyable and a little bit different, perhaps quirky.
Absolute ca HOOT
1940’s style Squiffy picnic in an old London Underground station. Great afternoon tea with a teapot full of gin cocktail. Fabulous entertainment from Lois ‘legs’ Laurelle, where group participation is a must..!!
Where else in London can you get an afternoon tea, with drinks and a live 2hr show for under £50. Cannot recommend highly enough. We have already planned our next visit.
Unique! A must visit!
Myself and my boyfriend visited Cahoots in London when we went on a weekend away and WOW! We have never seen anywhere quite like this, ever. What a fantastic approach. We loved every second from the staff who gave excellent service and kept in character - THE WHOLE TIME, to the atmosphere. The menu is a war-like newspaper which also just topped it off. I would of given full stars but the only downside was we were seated very packed in with other tables around us which, considering we booked very far in advance was a shame as you could barely hear yourself speak. Also, some of the cocktails (not all only 2 of the ones I tried) did not come or taste anything like the description which, especially for cocktail prices in a big city is a bit of a let down.
Be the first to ReplyDisappointment.
This was a massive disappointment. Firstly I want to say that the staff were friendly and excellent, this bad review is not their fault. We were charged bottomless squiffy picnic £68 and I am shocked at what was served up. Drinks were ok (but some of them strange, they would have been better serving Prosecco) but the sandwiches and the questionable cakes and scones were not the best. Some of the sandwiches were clearly prepared sometime before and were stale, scone was ok and jam and cream generous. However the mini cakes were clearly shop bought from a supermarket. They shouldn’t have bothered with them, they were so obviously not homemade. My vegan friend says hers were dry. We had a trifle which was ok. As my friend said why wasn’t there some other savouries such as pork pie and other picnic type items. We were very disappointed with the amount we were charged, when we could have had bottomless brunch for much cheaper, or a high class afternoon tea for cheaper as well. The staff were very nice.

Visited this themed bar for my partners birthday. Upon arrival he was greeted with a birthday card and a shot, which was a great gesture.
We had 3 different cocktails each, which were all very tasty and presented very differently. There was a very good range of cocktails for all tastebuds. I have an espresso martini, which was the best espresso martini I have ever tasted, so incredibly delicious and smooth.
The staff are very friendly and pay a lot of attention and look after guests very well.
I will return and would recommend this venue.
Unique
Glad we got tickets for the underground part of this bar as the upstairs looked mostly like a normal (quirky) bar.
We had some great drinks and some of the serving glasses are really cool!
The staff were friendly and stayed in character well.
