Rude, treated badly
Rude staff, they scolded us several times because we didn't take food but only beer, the waiter even told us in a very rude way: I've already seen you" as if we had taken advantage of the seat, after all a portion of chips almost €5, a bit excessive I would say, especially given how we were treated

We were there for brunch. The selection was OK but nothing more. The service was very friendly 👌. The location was very loud. It was very unpleasant that the price didn't even include water. It's a shame. You'd expect that for €32.50 🥲
Be the first to ReplyEMBARASSING. Rude. RUDE! They don't deserve money from tourists!
BAD. My friend and I want to have a quick breakfast, we ask for a table outside. After half an hour of waiting I call a VERY ANNOYED waiter who first waves at me with his hand and rolls his eyes "wait don't bother me" and then takes our order. After two minutes another waitress arrives and asks us again what we want, to our response in English she says "only Deutsch" with a pissed off face. We reply that we only speak English, she pretends not to understand, looking us straight in the face and continuing to repeat with a shrug of her shoulders and a sustained voice: "DEUTSCH!". We left of course.
Be the first to ReplyGreat knuckle
Finding a good knuckle of pork is not that easy. This one had everything: crispy, juicy and great taste. I also liked the bread that came with it, especially the crispy crust. The salad was mediocre. My service was quick and friendly. I sat very nicely in the upper area and could overlook the restaurant. I didn't get bored there. My beer was delicious and drinkable.

It is a very busy and crowded bar in the evening hours. It is suitable for large groups of friends. It has delicious food, large portions and delicious beers.

The service is quite fast but the food is touristy. Average prices for the place. Then the problem of the dozens of flies.
Be the first to ReplyGood brewery that loses value in the "summer" chaos
Place with large internal lounge and several external tables. 16 of us arrived after a reservation made in the afternoon, unfortunately upon our arrival the table was barely enough for 12 and we all had to squeeze in a little because there was no other solution (the management was not very correct) the place was very crowded (Thursday 20 July). Cuisine with typical German dishes, since there were many of them the variety of dishes allowed me to verify their characteristics: some in my opinion well prepared and good, others mediocre and/or little appreciated... The roast pork shank was well presented ( challenging to eat both due to abundance and "heaviness" as it was a very hot day). Friendly but very hasty staff.

A quick lunch while passing through - friendly service, excellent beer, good roast pork. Small deductions for loud music, but that may have been due to it being a Sunday.
Be the first to ReplyBrewery in the middle of the city
I ate at the brewery several times during my stay in Stuttgart. In the evenings, it is advisable to make a reservation as it is very popular, including with locals. The kitchen offers good, home-style food, as you would expect from a brewery. The price/performance ratio is very good. The service is extremely friendly. I immediately felt at home in the large restaurant. The brewery produces its own beer - you should definitely try the naturally cloudy beer.
Be the first to ReplyNew build, traditional food.
Our first night in the city. In a modern building, with a copper distillation vessel outside. I had booked ahead - just as well; pretty full even on a Monday. Traditional German dishes - pork knuckles, sauerkraut, black beer etc We got over the language barrier with lots of smiles. Decent price too
Be the first to ReplyBeer, Maultaschen and friendly staff. What more could a first time visitor want!
Nice outdoor seating. We were there twice in one week. The menus are in German, but have the description in English. Bonus! Both our waiter's were friendly and spoke some English. I had the Kasespatzle (Swabian mac n cheese) our first visit and it was delish. 2nd visit I had Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) soup. Hubby had Maultaschen dinner. Swabian ravioli sevved with German potato salad and a green salad. We had a local beer both times Schonbuch brau. Will definitely go back before we leave!
