We had a really excellent meal and the service was friendly and swift. I particularly like this restaurant as it is not really noisy so we could have good conversation while eating our dinner. Also it strikes a balance to giving one the feeling that you are on a good night out in a nice restaurant while not being stuffy and pretentious. I thoroughly recommend it. It is also a a great place to go pre- or post-theatre as it is very close to Hamstead Theatre as well as the Odeon cinema.

Bradley's Restaurant in this quiet neighborhood of Swiss Cottage is a glowing gem. Chef Simon Bradley's delicate flavors & style comes through in his food! His refined Continental European cuisine is reflected in his menu. The regular menu is supplemented by a prix fixe menu with some tasty choices. The individually crafted desserts are not to missed also. The service was impeccable by the suit & tie servers. With drinks came a board of house-made olive & raisin rolls. Our group of 5 started with a variety of appetizers and all were amazing. Highlights were the Grilled Cuttlefish, smoky in flavor over black wild rice and the twice-baked Cheese Soufflé. The soufflé had an amazing leek sauce. Our friend said her Roasted Jerusalem Artichokes was one of the best salads she's ever had. My son (restaurant namesake) went with a 3 appetizer array as his whole meal with Cheese Croquettes, Grilled Cuttlefish and the Devon Crab Tartare, which was a work of art and taste. The entrees were no less grand. My wife's Wild Sea Bass Fillet was perfect in every way. From the prix fixe menu, my Vienna Schnitzel was super crispy and accompanied by crispy roast potatoes & shredded cabbage. The schnitzel was topped by a rich heritage fried egg embedded with capers & anchovies with flavors that married well with breaded veal. Do not skip dessert! Though the BlackBerry Soufflé might take extra time, it is absolutely worth waiting for. The daily dessert was a Ginger Pudding, though in the UK, it's more a cake with vanilla ice cream and I loved it. For chocolate fiends, the Chocolate Pavé with Chocolate Crumble & Damson Sorbet is killer.

Take part in a birthday party in the restaurant's exclusive dining room. The ambience and setting of this dining area is perfect for intimate celebrations. Our delightful host for the evening was Yaren, who really went above and beyond in looking after our group and ensuring that everyone felt thoroughly looked after. Many thanks to Bramley's for providing us with such a wonderful experience!

Great food and good service, unfortunately for me, there was a very loud table of 8 ladies getting together and that certainly damped the enjoyment of the meal, not that the restaurant could have done anything about it, bottom line great food, reasonable wines and good service. Will have to try it again:)

Wonderful service and excellent food. Melon, prosciutto and basil sorbet was the perfect start on a hot day. My lamb was grilled perfectly and served with eggplant and beans in a lovely sauce. A nice white wine complemented the meal. Dessert looked amazing however I was too full. Will come again when I am here.
Be the first to ReplyBeautifully presented food, and an attractive dining room.
A classy place at a very reasonable price. They were very accommodating of our party of 12 last Friday. Highly recommended.
Be the first to ReplyHad a fantastic meal at Bradley's.
Superb wine list, great service, and marvelous choice of food. I had the set menu: the food was promptly served, piping hot (as it should be!), and wonderfully seasoned. The wine choices I made were good pairs with the foods: pinot blanc for the soup, the Izadi rioja for the duck. The cheese plate was an interesting combination of different cheeses, and I was delighted with the sweets that were offered at the end. Except for a crying baby at the beginning of the meal, the atmosphere was perfect: lively but not noisy.

Ate here before going to the theatre after reading the great reviews. What a disappointment! The bread basket was terrible. All three choices were bad.I had the double baked pumpkin souffle, it was alright. My partners aubergine salad was below average. My main course was the schnitzel. Very very oily. In fact it was oozing the stuff, and i hate that.My partners fish was ok.The cheese selection was underwhelming and my raspberry creme brulee was a disappointment. The only saving grace was their seasonal choice of red wine, which was lovely.

Food, service and atmosphere all great. We were rushed and they were very accomodating. Set menu is particularly good value. Would come back again soon!

Great Michelin listed food. Go for pre theatre menu 6-7 weekdays as a la carte is pricey.

We have eaten here for many years and Simon (aka Simon Bradley) is a fantastic cook. I can't think of ever having a bad meal. Lovely atmosphere - go but don't tell anyone else - OK?

Whenever I want to get away to a more quiet part of London, I go to Swiss Cottage. Here I found French fare at fair prices. Bradley's offers a two course lunch for 12 in a stylish, artful setting. I was able to choose from pumpkin soup, salmon gravdlax or fried ox tongue, for my first course and portobello mushroom, salt beef or fish cake for my second.Bradley's is unassuming as it is nestled away from the main street and features an impressive wine list for the scale of the restaurant. The interior is simple and a romantic place for a dinner for two.
