How did they get their Michelin star? Just how? Mediocre service, mediocre ambience, mediocre food, yet too pricey. We ordered butter garlic prawns and paneer-mushrooms for starters and garlic naan and chicken makhani for entrée. Ok food. Nothing much to talk about. I don't I'll go here again when I'm in London next.

Came here based on a recommendation from a friend and it was great! My family and I were not well versed in Indian cuisine and the waiter was very helpful with the menu and was able to make dishes spice levels to our liking! The atmosphere was very cute, very aesthetic. Overall I would go back! Great food! Great place!
Be the first to ReplyIntimate almost diner setting.
Would eat here regularly. Dined with colleagues and loved ones, and the mood and food turn fledgling friendships into full-blown ones. Sampled practically everything. Highlights: Lamb chop appetizer was phenomenal; could easily have this as a main. Every curry was delicious. The side spicy peppers were a brilliant accompaniment to each dish. Would love to return, without a doubt! Come here and you will find it divine

In town for the Bills game and one of the things I definitely wanted to do was to get some quality Indian Food. My brother found this spot within walking distance of our lodging. We were basically the first to arrive here. Beautiful interior, there is also a downstairs bar and tables that are gorgeous. We went with a couple apps. A couple mains and some rice and garlic naan. The food here can only be described as flavorful, with some heat, and just mind blowingly delicious. I had the Pearl of Bombay for an opening cocktail and it was perfect after flying on a redeye and staying up all night. Second cocktail was really delicious had a garnish of cucumber on top. Samosa, trio of dosa, crab vada, chicken makhani, dal, all destroyed. We ended up ordering more naan, more than what would be reasonable because we cleaned the portions and sauces up. Nothing was left. For dessert we ate the tiramisu. Also a winner with our table. It was not cheap. But I believe the experience and the quality of the food is worth a stop. Posting photos of stuff to look at!

Before we go any further: gulab jamun IN A TIRAMISU people! Sorry Italy, but these babies are soft moist and go perfectly with the marscapone. Genius. I also loved the dosa trio was pancake soft, and so delicious with the lamb and sauces on the side! The keema pau was one of my favorites too, such good flavor but didn't mask the lamb flavor. But what can?! Of course a mango lassi to wash it all down!
Be the first to ReplySo the food here was really good.
But, the prices I wasn't a fan of. 30 pounds for a few pieces chicken with sauce that was small was unfortunate. Plus 4 for rice. Just wasn't happy about that, but had to stay since I was with a group. The food however was very good and flavorful. You could smell things from other tables and that was nice to add to the aroma. Just expensive was the downside.
Be the first to ReplyFood is good but not worth the price in my opinion.
I have had better food for less price. Cool cocktails.

The waiter was very nice. The presentation of the food was excellent. I would recommend this place.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food.
We arrived 15 mins late for an 8:00 PM, Friday resy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We sat downstairs in what looked like an art deco themed speakeasy. It was beautifully decorated. The food was delicious! We started with dosas and samosas and ordered a la carte for a group of 5 ladies. Ordering 2 rounds of their beautiful drinks was on the slow side - it took awhile to place our order and we only received 1 out of the 2 bottles of water requested. 13.5% service charge was included in the check. Otherwise, the food was spot on and I would highly recommend!

Be the first to ReplyThis Indian restaurant was a nice surprise.
Our server was very attentive and our meal was superb. However, we were quite surprised that they didn't have many hot spices to add to our meal, as we love spice.

WOW. This restaurant blew us away. We were coming through London en route to Heathrow after a week in the Highlands and I was craving fancy Indian food. Bombay Bustle lived up to these hopes. And more. The vibe is sexy-- definitely a date night location. The music is techno but in the theatrical sense-- not a dance club. The food is outstanding. The drinks were good. We ordered 5 dishes, plus garlic naan and rice for 2 of us. The tab all told was sound £200.Fish Tandoori - surprisingly fresh, flavorful, and filling. A surprise find that blew our minds.Lamb Tandoori - meaty and super tender. Good flavorPaneer masala - a little sweet for my liking but still good. crab curry - amazing. Spicy chunks of fresh crab swimming in a spicy curry. The flavor of this was outstanding. I licked the bowl.Minced lamb- solid. As for drinks, they were good-- but the food was the real star of the showBombay Sunset-- a good, subtly sweet gin and turmeric cocktailMadfox-- gigantic gin and tonicLoved this restaurant. Hope to return

The host and waitress were kind and accommodating. Had a spicy chicken dish with naan and it was very delicious. Had one of the best cocktails I think I've ever had in the Incognito. This place is a must try.

And a really nice environment. We went for the standard chicken tikka, lamb biryani and samosa chaat. So delicious and fresh. The service was impeccable- management even came by a couple times to check on us. Fun mocktails for the girls. Would recommend to anyone looking for a genuine London Indian food experience. And the background music was great as well.

It's a little loud but quite hip. It was our last night in London and I wanted good Indian. Bombay Blast did not disappoint. Recommend reservations if you want a table. We sat at the sharing table which was fine, but for a little more privacy make reservations.

Be the first to ReplyExcellent atmosphere.
Food is very good. Service is engaging. Close to a perfect balance between ambiance, food and service. A very happy meal!
Be the first to ReplyAmazing food and the service was spectacular.
This restaurant is well deserved of a Michelin Star.
Be the first to ReplyCame here with a group of friends a while back.
We made a reservation in advance as this spot gets pretty busy normally. The inside of the restaurant is elegant and relatively formal. We ordered a few dishes to share for the table, including the Fish Tikka and the Tawa Crab Curry, the Vegetable Samosas, and Naan. The fish was extra spicy and delicious and the curry was super flavorful. Portions are on the smaller side given the price point, just something to keep in mind. Enjoyed the food and would recommend to others

Thanks to Yelp I located this gem and it was an amazing choice ! London is known for having amazing Indian food -and Bombay Bustle absolutely fits in that category . Located on a quiet street in Mayfair , we took a black cab for a late Sunday dinner reservation after enjoying Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park. We were greeted warmly , our coats were checked, and the lovely hostess was kind enough to plug our iPhones into the charger at her station -since we were both low . The atmosphere is great. It's not quiet, We ordered a lot of different dishes . My faves were the paneer , samosas , chicken tikka Makhani , prawns , Junglee Maas . We also a Spanish Red wine and their OLD GOLD FASHIONED which was really cool with real gold and served table side ! I will definitely return next time I'm in London!
Be the first to ReplyGood experience.
We were late but they got us in. Bartender has good recommendations for dinner. Good was good. Portions a little small. Flavor and temperature good. Price point was okay. Very loud atmosphere. Had to lean in completely to be able to talk. Dessert was very good. Wine and cocktails were excellent.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food at a reasonable price.
Sadly, however, the blaring "ultra" type "techno" music (particularly the unending bass beat drowning out any suggestion of actual music) makes what could be a pleasant dining experience into nothing less than torture. That said, there is also the issue of a relatively young wait staff whose hearing will surely suffer over time.Perhaps for some who are considering enjoying the food, "take away" would be an option (just keep your fingers in your ears if you need to wait for your package).

We visited Bombay Bustle on a Sunday afternoon for their weekend brunch. We ordered the m nimbu pani, masala chai, idly, bread basket and paneer. My wife would possibly give this place 4-5 star because she really liked the idly and the chai. My son and I would possibly give it a 1* as we were not impressed with the paneer and the samosas were probably made in Liliput island - TINY... The nimbu pani was a total waste and the waiter was continually asking if we wanted to order more food... Really bad value for money. The ambience was nice though the music was too loud... The service was super fast and thus I settled on giving it 2*... Do yourselves a favor and head over to Dhishoom, Punjab, or Woodlands

My family showed up at this establishment at 8:15 on a Tuesday and we were excited to eat a great meal. We had a reservation but unfortunately we were rejected because we have a 3 year old and there is a child policy that states no children under 8 after 8pm. This was sent to us in an email in fine print after the reservation was made. It's a really snooty policy and it's just too bad because they lost out on customers that could have spent a lot of money at their establishment. What was more disappointing was the attitude of the staff. It's fine to turn us down due to their policy but they were not courteous about it and simply told us numerous times that we should have read their policy. They made us feel "lesser than" and it is simply not how you want customers to feel. We went next door to kanishka (equally fancy with no such child policies) and had a great time. We will never try this restaurant with or without kids.
