hot dog was below average.
Make sure you don't follow Google directions because it is wrong-it is a hot dog cart. I called the owner? he tried to help me find it (2 very short calls) but turned to voice mail. Didn't want to bother but I could not find it.

Terrible! If you can't get a drunk fat guy to finish your food, you have to reevaluate your cooking. I stopped in after the Cardinals football game for a couple of cabeza tacos and what amounted to very cheap cheese melted between two greasy flour tortillas with 1.5 oz of Carne asada in the middle. Got home (5 or 6 houses down) busted it open, and was about to smash my insatiable coors banquet filled hunger. One bite of taco and I just knew I should have stood online at the McDonald's on Gilbert and main. Which is horrible, and your personal safety is tenuous at best. I digress. This one bite was a gravy laden bite of grease and fat. This meat had to come from Blue the Ox because no normal cow has this much head fat.Trash! Okay no worries, shot in the dark. Onto what they can not mess up the quesadilla broke out the guacamole, sour cream, Lil cilantro. Boom! Let go! 1 bite everybody knows the rules. F#%k! Are you kidding me. Grease, okay, no worries, my body is craving some grease. Let me bust open this iced cold Dasani to help it down. 2nd bite faint hint of carna asada masked by 1980's welfare cheese (it was a tough time around the crib), and you guessed it more grease. I ain't gonna lie for $17. I got through half of it down before calling it a lesson learned. So I half burnt some toast over butter it and went to bed.

3 Sonoran hot dog places closed, I would not stop until I found one. The dog was awesome. I wish I got two. Taco was average. Hablo Espanol not needed, but can make ordering easier.
Be the first to ReplyThe hot dogs here are my favorite.
Ordered: Asada Tacos Hot dogs Nachos Head up this place is outdoors and there's no seating so be ready to take the food to go. They accept cash and credit card. Something I wasn't expecting was the nacho cheese (like Velveeta) on the nachos. I'm used melted shredded cheese. Also, take a look at the menu. When you say with everything, it includes mushrooms which I wasn't expecting. I would go back for the hot dogs.
Be the first to ReplyNever had a Mexican style hotdog until I came here.
I have been back about five times since. They are very good and full of flavor. I can not compare them to anyone else because this is the only place I have tried. I would recommend checking your order before leaving. They shorted me two hotdogs once which I realized once I got home.

Such a cute family owned pop up tent right across the street from them. The people are super friendly and seem to have a lot of usuals coming through, great service and the Sonoran dog was the best I've had. Definitely coming back!!

Amazing hotdogs and the service was great and people were nice! Definitely will be coming back for more and recommend for to anyone looking for a hotdog in the Phoenix / Mesa area! Worth the drive
Be the first to ReplyWords can't describe these hotdogs.
The first time I tried these was back in 2013 on the west valley. 6 years later Im still getting them but have to travel to Mesa for there bad boys or order the catering. Kevin the operator of the cart/business is an amazing guy as well and has just about anything and everything you'd need for your hunger/craving needs!

Great street tacos!! Their red sauce is really good!! They have lots of other sauces and toppings. The guy who owns it/works here is super friendly. They also have Sonoran hot dogs which are good, but I'm a street taco person

I've been going here for years and now for some reason, it is not good food at all. We went on a Saturday night, as a walk up. There was nobody in line and we were standing there waiting. And Nobody said anything at all to us. We were not even acknowledged or greeted. Then finally, when we said we were ready, they were extremely rude. Just dirty looks on they're faces, and attitude. I then told the lady I have never been here before, what does she suggests and she just shrugged her shoulders and pointed to the menu. We finally ordered what we thought were Authentic Carne Asada Tacos. Wow big mistake! also we ordered two Elote's (Corn on a stick). We finally got our food after some miscommunication on how to plate our 9 Tacos. I explained 3,3 and 3 with 3 plates. Well we got our food piled together on one To-go tray. I politely asked for another plate, to the "Grill Master" if you wanna call him that, and give him to much credit. But I wouldn't. He looked at me like I was trying to steal from him, and was very hesitant with giving me a empty plate. A very cheap flimsy, styrofoam plate I might add. Not gold. He finally came to his senses and gave the plate up. We then were told our taco condiments were in a ice cooler, which had no ice btw. There is no way that the food was at health code temp. This was bottom of the barrel, old, out of date. The pico, in reality was chopped onions. The limes were black. And we had to use our hands because of no utensils. The elotes I would rate 6/10. Not bad, just a little old. The tacos were the worst the meat was not Carne Asada. I think it was ground something. Dog? Maybe Ol jinxy? I'm not sure but it reminded me a lot of my dogs canned ALPO. the tortillas were not even cooked. Extremely soggy. It all fell apart. Not good at all. And I'm sorry I'm not trying to be mean. I've actually given this place a couple chances already. But even the last two times I went here, the same issues. I'm not sure why. Because it used to be very good, and the employees used to care. Not anymore.

I guess they figure if your ordering on a Friday night you must be too drunk to realize how badly you just got screwed.
Be the first to ReplyI had 1 el chavo hot dog and a regular Sonoran style dog.
Both were extremely delicious! The three ladies working and cooking were very friendly as well. They take cash and card which is a plus for me since many of the food trucks and stands on Broadway don't take card. I will be coming back here whenever I'm on the east side late at night.

Fantastic find! I've been on the hunt in the East Valley for the perfect Sonoran dog and Blazing Desert Dogs is definitely a contender! My other half had the Chiledogo and I had the El Chavo. Both were overflowing with toppings - no skimping here! The bun was nicely grilled, which kept it from getting soggy. The bacon on the El Chavo was grilled to perfection and gave the dog some crunch. The addition of ham on this dog was a really nice touch and helped to make a single dog a filling meal. We'll most definitely be back.
