Nice space, decent service, below average Jap Chae
My wife enjoyed her "bone soup". I opted for vegetarian Jap Chae ( clear noodle ). Jap Chae is a simple dish with noodles and stir fried vegetables and strips of meat ( if you opt for meat ). My dish came with noodles and stir fried cabbage, It was bland and uninspired. I suspect the meat options are better here, dishes like Bi Bim Bop, etc. Would go there again but I'd order something else.

My wife and daughter and I enjoyed a great dinner here. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and friendly.
Be the first to ReplyGood variety of korean food
This place has a big menu of korean food and they all looked pretty decent! Had the yuk gae jang which was good. The tteokpokki was also good. Jigae was not my taste but not bad. (:
Be the first to ReplyAverage Korean with great service
Stopped by for dinner on a hot evening and enjoyed super quick and very polite service. I ordered vegetarian Bibim Bab - alas no brown rice available. My order was accompanied by miso soup (tasty) and kimchi, pickled radish (delightful) and 3 small pieces of raw broccoli. The dish was mostly rice with some lettuce, tiny amount of spinach, maybe a single sliced shiitake mushroom, raw grated carrots and sliced zucchini, bean sprouts and was decorated with an egg. If it wasn't for kimchi and radish it would have been just bland. I was not impressed. Hopefully other dishes (menu is quite large) have more umami but it will take a while for me to want to go back. I really liked though how quick the service was!
Be the first to ReplyYou’re not in Kansas anymore, chef Seo-yun 😡...start over again
Bibimbob okdahl is my favorite food. I really wanted to love this place. Waited forever for them to open. Excited and hopeful they would serve some of our beloved favorites like Misono in West Roxbury. We were greeted by friendly enthusiastic staff, but it was obvious they were awkward and green with customers. Credit for effort. Decor is modern and restaurant clean. The menu, however, is confusing, disorganized, overwhelming in a Cheesecake Factory kinda way. Way too many pork items, minimal translation to English so we didn’t appreciate a dish we may have ordered if we new what it was. No liquor license — a huge bummmer on a Saturday night. Scallion pancake was undercooked but tasted ok anyway. Downhill from there. Ramon Soups were all pork based. Not a fan so I can’t say if they were good. Two noodle dishes we ordered were ehhh. Soft over cooked bland noodles and an inedible seafood topping that was so salty we are sure no one in the kitchen had bothered to taste. They also served complimentary pickle dish that looked old and gray...tasted old and bland. Why not bring something fresh and colorful and representative of a proud Korean table? The owners are hard workers who want to succeed. The space is beautiful. The clientele is just outside the door but not coming in. I wish them well. I hope they find a consultant to help them succeed and change around their food approach. They have a great chance to be a stellar Korean eatery. I hope they head my words and I promise to up my 2 stars

My wife and I eat here perhaps once every two or three weeks. The service is prompt and courteous and the food good - often very good.
Be the first to ReplyA very good restaurant
The food was very good and the waiters pretty nice! The prices were more than correct. I strongly recommend it! We really enjoyed being here!
Be the first to ReplyAwful experience. Will never go back.
This was my second time coming here after a descent first experience. My girlfriend ordered a beef soup, but asked for it to be less spicy and substitute beef for chicken. The waitress said she cannot substitute beef for chicken and suggested another menu item that was a chicken soup, not spicy. So we decided to take her advice and order the $20 chicken soup and some other noodle dish...The soup came out and tasted like warm water with the body of a plain chicken floating in it. We asked for some sort of sauce or anything to give it some more flavor. The red sauce didn't add much and we asked if we could potentially change the order to something else because it was flavorless. Since the soup we ordered was solely based off the waitress's suggestion I was expecting her to scratch the $20 bowl of water off the bill and pay for another dish we ordered instead. However, they said they would not offer a different food item and did not even take the soup off the bill. At around 9pm the waitresses all sat down to eat and we were left waiting to grab their attention and ask for the bill. I did not want to be rude and interrupt their dinner. Safe to say they have lost us as customers. If they were willing to bite the bullet and lose what was probably under $10 on the bowl of chicken water (rough estimate of their margin) we would have been extremely thankful and would definitely continue to come back here. Unfortunately, this was not the case and I do not recommend this place to anyone because it is an over priced average Korean place in an area with endless options at every corner. Some advice to management: as a new business in the area it is important to build a strong client base instead of nickel and diming everyone.
Be the first to ReplyNot authentic. Meh food.
As a Korean I wanted to like this place. Unfortunately I couldn’t. Won’t be back. 1. The kimchi is terrible. Seriously terrible. 2. It’s expensive but it is in Brookline so cannot expect much. 3. Service is slow. 4. The food is very generic. 5. Kimchi fried rice is mushy, which is NOT how you do it.
