Excellent food.
Appetizers (Dungeness crab and squash blossom) were super flavorful and entrees (Filet Mignon and Halibut) were cooked perfectly. It's clear that the kitchen knows what they are doing. Even though we preferred regular tables, we ended up sitting at the bar, which ishonestly not bad. It gave us a view into the kitchen and watch the friendly staff work behind the bar. Price was not crazy for the vibe/food quality when judged by LA standard. Would def come again next time in Bend.

drove three hours from Happy Valley just to eat here--and let me tell you, it was worth every mile. I didn't stop for fast food because I saw this spot had bone marrow and lamb on the menu. Yes, I planned my whole day around this meal. From the moment I walked in (in a sweatshirt, flip-flops, and ashy feet, okay?!), the host welcomed me like family--even though they were only taking reservations. That alone deserves a star. Now the food... MELTED in my mouth. The timing of each dish was perfection. You get to actually savor the flavors, take a breath, and then enjoy the next plate without being rushed. Everything was fresh, rich, and flavorful. Keto-friendly too! Zero complaints. The service was kind, patient, and never once made me feel less than--even though I wasn't dressed like the other patrons. That kind of hospitality matters, especially in areas that aren't super diverse. If you're looking for a date night spot or just want to treat yourself to something special, this is it. Add this to your must-try list. The food, the vibe, the people... all five stars from Exit Bliss.

Ariana has become my go-to spot whenever I'm celebrating something special. There's always a sense of occasion here--starting with the thoughtful prix fixe menu and the perfectly curated wine pairings. The staff is warm and attentive, ready to guide you through the menu or make thoughtful accommodations for dietary restrictions. What I really love about Ariana is how it nudges me to step outside of my classic steakhouse comfort zone. Each visit brings new dishes and combinations I probably wouldn't have tried on my own, all within an intimate, welcoming setting. The restaurant itself is tucked inside a cozy craftsman-style home. They've recently renovated and added a few more tables, which helps, but reservations can still be tricky to snag--so plan ahead! I've mostly dined inside, enjoying the cozy elegance, but the courtyard is especially charming on a warm evening and worth requesting if the weather allows. All in all, it's a splurge, but absolutely worth it for a memorable dining experience.

This husband and wife team have created a dining experience comparable to a Michelin restaurant (unfortunately, Michelin doesn't cover Oregon...yet). A charming Craftsman bungalow has been transformed into a chic space with tasteful art and floral arrangements, surrounding ample dining tables and comfy seating. We had the tasting menu along with the "standard" wine pairing - which was anything but- and our personal waiter provided ample pours of 6 wines. Each jewel of a dish was a visual delight. The chefs combine their talents and backgrounds to create nuanced flavors that highlight fresh ingredients without needing to resort to pyrotechnics. We left after a 3 hour meal feeling like we had been treated to one of the most special meals we've enjoyed in a long time. I say this as someone who has dined at numerous Michelin restaurants.
Amazing food experience.
The lamb and filet were excellent and our vegan guest loved her menu and attention. Desert was fantastic as well. Our waitress was great as well. The only thing that fell short was the coffee we had with dessert.

The attention to detail was amazing. We would barely finish a meal and the empty dish would be whisked away. I never had an empty glass, whether it be cocktail, wine, or water. At one point I noticed their attention to this, to be a complete ass I chugged down my entire glass of water. Bam! It was refilled within a minute. Justin was our server (just in case his management reads this). The food was amazing. If anything, it was MORE food than I anticipated. My belly was so full but every entree was so scrumptious that I kept eating. Espresso, as suggested by Justin, was the perfect compliment to the final course (dessert) of the tasting menu. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The tasting menu with wine pairing was enjoyable, although I only really liked the Crémant de Bourgogne, Syrah Rôtie from Walla Walla and the Tokaj. The Bergstrom Pinot from Oregon wasn't my taste. The starter salad was insanely spicy (although the waitress stated it would not) and I wasn't able to eat it. The oysters with horseradish mignonette were refreshing and exquisite. The scallops with mushroom bisque were delightful and perfectly seasoned. The ricotta gnudi with taleggio were alright but I can cook that at home; so not really interesting to me. Loin of pork and basque cheesecake were non descript. The ambiance was ok, nothing to remember about. The waitress was very professional but her wine descriptions were a bit flat. If you have to pick between two splurging experiences: choose BOSA.

Pros: Ariana has cheerful staff, adequate parking, great drinks and service. Cons: Good luck trying to acquire a reservation! Expensive food (four scallops for $42.00 no vegetables unless you count the puree and four small artichoke pieces). Small menu without a vegetarian entree selection. The bar seats four people and one needs reservations in order to be seated at the bar-of which a third of the portion is closed off. This is for diners to wait at while their table is being set. I noticed there is also a large couch on the front patio to wait on, as well. Not sure why Ariana has so much unused space. I have been coming here off and on since 2011 and keep trying for the 5 stars!!! But no. And this is not a French restaurant. I live in Paris half the year and the only similiarity are the sauces and the fact that they serve wine.

A kind of passive aggressive charm, pricy with fairly reasonable service. For food in its price range I would consider it average.

The flavors and textures are works of art. We dined for 2 hours and were full by the end. After trying most of Bends fine dining options, Ariana is as close to a "Michelin star" quality as you will get. The main dining room gets pretty loud... so opt for the heated patio if available.

Husband booked our reservation as a surprise dinner for our anniversary and the experience was phenomenal from start to finish. We had the chef's dinner with the reserve wine pairing and every dish was above and beyond. Service was warm and attentive, and the wine pours made the pairing well worth its cost. Highly recommend adding the bone marrow like we did if you do the chef's tasting menu. So delicious! Will for sure be back for future special occasions.

Fantastic date night evening with great service, we couldn't have asked for more from any aspect of the night! The Chef's Tasting Menu was unbelievable and every course was carefully thought through - the textures and balance of flavor was unbelievable. My partner (who has a history of hating kale) said that the kale salad was the best salad he ever had. The minted pea puree is something I might have dreams about, alongside the ramp-dungeness crab risotto. The wine pairings were also amazing - I was able to try new wines that I wouldn't typically choose. The knowledge of our server was unbelievable with every single item brought to our table.

Charging 15 dollars in order for someone to even become your customer is very poor customer service. There are other ways to secure you bookings and not punish your customers for preferring your business . We madereservatio s elsewhere.

Ariana is one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long line of excellent dining experiences. The service was warm and informative. The building is cozy and beautiful. And the food is next level. We got the tasting menu and it was beyond worth it. Our favorite was the scallop in caramelized onion soup. The Wagyu beef course was also spectacular. Bend is a special place to visit and dining at Ariana was a highlight.
Incredible but expensive....
The service at Ariana was exceptional! Remember that going to Ariana means "DINING", not chowing down. Very leisurely. Yes, it is expensive BUT the experience is sublime. The food from beginning to end was marvelous with layered flavors and surprises. I went with seafood and enjoyed it all. Beverage service was excellent with some great choices in both by the glass to bottles. This is definitely an 'event' experience. I would especially recommend this restaurant as romantic destination but maybe not in the main dining room. It can get a little loud.
It's not that Ariana has bad food.
It is very good, just not very interesting. Unfortunately the menu never seems to change. A few of the dishes seem old fashioned (heavy meats, reliance on cream in the sauces). I wish the chefs would take it up a notch and prepare more Mediterranean fare rather than resting on stodgy "classics". But, this is only my opinion. One other thing I don't like (which started during COVID-19) is the fact you have to pay a deposit when you make reservations. WTF?!

We've been to Ariana twice and would put it at 4 stars
We've been to Ariana twice and would put it at 4 stars grading on a curve for Bend, but 3 stars solely on its merits alone. Our most recent visit was on New Year's Eve. We had the tasting menu for $275pp . The amuse bouche was nice. The focaccia was rather flat. The first course of salmon tartare was good, if not earth shattering. Second course was beet carpaccio which was good, not memorable. Third course was the best of the meal: mussel bisque. It was absolutely delicious. If only the other courses were half as tasty as this one. The fourth and fifth courses were disappointing: The fourth was octopus in a chili sauce so hot it was difficult to eat and completely overtook the delicate octopus flavor. The fifth was a foie gras dumpling in an extremely salty dashi which also took over the dish. The sixth was the steak course, which was well cooked to medium rare (sous vide) with a rather bland potato hash brown. Dessert was ice cream - nothing very special given the occasion. No post dessert or bon bons were offered which seemed stingy for the price and occasion. Service was fine, but had a couple hiccups. We were seated in the "pavilion" which was on the porch, not the best for a winter night, and has zero ambiance, looking the taqueria across the street, but fine, we can deal with that if the food is amazing. We ordered a round of cocktails and then wine to follow. The wine was brought out and poured about 5 minutes into our cocktails which we were only just into by then. Also timing with courses and wine could have been better. I hate to write a meh review, but I just thought to add our experience, which seems to differ from others'. Also a word of advice to double check they don't put you in the "pavilion" aka porch. When I booked online, the "pavilion" seating was not explained. Had I understood, I would not have booked. We spend a lot of time in Bend and the search continues for a restaurant worthy of a special occasion :/
It was a beautiful birthday dinner at Ariana Restaurant.
The service was kind, warm, and welcoming. We were seated immediately and offered drink recommendations. I started with the house take on a margarita. There's a pre-fix but I opted for a la carte. To start, I had the radicchio salad. This was incredible. I would love to eat this again and again. It was like a Caesar salad but better (I know!!!). I like more things in my salad and you won't find store croutons in this salad. Not pictured is a mushroom soup that was also tasty. There was an option to add a scallop to the top of the soup, so fancy! Then the next course was scallops ($42) and black cod ($35). The scallop was cooked to perfection and the rice was fragrant with saffron and a hint of garlic. It was light and decadent. The black cod was my favorite. It was herbaceous and melted in my mouth. It's the best black cod I've ever had. This was an outstanding birthday meal. I didn't settle for one dessert. I needed two! The passionfruit was bright and fun to eat. The cocoa nib meringues were light and crunch like flavored clouds. The mini birthday cake made me feel like a kid again. It tasted like birthday cupcakes I had during school parties. I wrapped it all up with a glass of bubbly. I am an adult after all. Cheers to all the work that goes into this restaurant. I could taste the passion and care. Thank you for a wonderful meal and celebration.
Amazing!
We so enjoy great food with unique flavor combinations and Ariana knocked it out of the park! Best Bone Marrow we’ve ever had. The Lamb Neck and Black Cod were cooked to perfection. Alisa took great care of us at the bar with in-depth menu knowledge, gracious service and spot on wine recommendations.

Always our first choice
We've probably visited Ariana's a half dozen times when we've visited friends in Bend. It's dependably excellent. The ambiance, service and food compares with other top restaurants we've patronized. There's a wonderful range of choices, the presentation is artful and the service attentive, very skilled and helpful. Our only disappointment? When we can't get a reservation.

* ImmortalStep65, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* ImmortalStep65 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to ImmortalStep65 for any questions Peter may have as ImmortalStep65 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* ImmortalStep65 now uses their connections at Ariana Restaurant Bend to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If ImmortalStep65 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, ImmortalStep65 receives the $200 reward which is credited to ImmortalStep65's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
