Anima by EDO Las Vegas Reviews from The Last Year
A must!
Celebrating my 60th. Anima’s IS Amazing! The food, drinks, service and atmosphere! I’d go back to Vegas just to dine here.
Really good tapas - and the sangria was really good
We loved the selection of tapas and everything was done really well. The decor was a little weird, but that's not a deterrent. We also went to Anima, a sister restaurant and thought the service was a little warmer and more welcoming, but the food was really good, and the pitcher of sangria was excellent, and well worth the price.
Las Vegas' best restaurant
An acronym for “Extra Day Off,” though EDO itself is open from 5pm until 9pm daily, it was with most of the Restaurant’s other 32 seats full by 6:00 on Wednesday that things were underway quickly with guests enjoying Sparkling Wine alongside vibrant Gazpacho as well as one-bite Dungeness Crab Salad and Caviar atop Peppers and cooling Granita. Less Seafood-centric than usual, a cone with the essence of Catalonian Tortilla followed by Pork Pate and a shaped Cracker, imported Fuet rests above delicate Tomato Espuma while Octopus “Head Cheese” gets a jolt from Vinegar-based Sauce. Complimenting the next round with housemade Coca Bread and three Spreads, Bluefin Tuna with Rhubarb an inspired pairing before the more modernist sheet of White Asparagus over Mussels and Oysters, fans of “Prosciutto e Melone” will find lots to love about EDO’s iteration featuring Jamon and Kumquat Leche de Tigre. Next jumping into spring with fresh Peas, faultless on their own but benefited by Sea Urchin and Caviar, Oscar’s Tarte Flambee outperforms its French counterpart via Wagyu Pastrami and just a hint of Jalapeno Oil. Weaving traditional to modern in a manner not dissimilar from Jose Andres or even the Adria brothers, Octopus in a clarified Noodle peaking out amidst Romesco and Gallega Sauce, savories concluded with Iberico Pork – but not before signature Patatas Bravas and Bikini Sobrasada. Innovative from start to finish, Anima’s Sake Panna Cotta making a palate-cleansing appearance, Desserts remain complex yet spectacular as Caramelized Pineapple pairs to Duck Liver and Hazelnut Ice Cream before an intriguing grand finale of Black Trumpet Mushrooms, Coconut Gelato, and Caviar.
Tasty Treats
Fun environment, with tasty, unusual dishes. A somewhat limited menu, but all the food we tried was delicious. It's a small restaurant in a strip mall, but don't let that be a deterrent.
Great.
Restaurant. The cocktails and service was great. I highly recommend the short rib. Im hating myself for eating it so fast. So good. The restaurant was clean, and great vibes. It was cool to see everyone prepping the food.
I stumbled onto this gem about a month ago.
I have to say it is one of the best off-strip offerings in Las Vegas. The staff is friendly and accommodating, providing the right amount of coverage. However, the food is the crowning jewel. The scallops, bucatini, and lamb neck are quickly becoming our favorites, but I reserve judgment until a few more visits to savor more of the menu. Cocktails are great and crafted beautifully. This is an actual value for local diners, but expect some tourists to get word and be drawn to commute out here. It is worth a visit
Chef Tayden is amazing.
Makes amazing food and great suggestions on what to try. The service is on point and really good cocktails as well.

I truly believe that this is the best Restaurant in Las Vegas, service is always on point, Food is innovative and delicious! Cocktail program is better than any where on the strip. Great date night Restaurant
I have been wanting to try this place out for a while and
I have been wanting to try this place out for a while and finally made it yesterday. Our reservation was at 5 p. We were promptly seated in this area which looked liked an alley. Tables weren't close to each other. You can literally touch the plates on the next table. You can hear everyone's conversation. Not very good if you want to have a quiet and relaxing dinner in an "upscale" restaurant. Service - overall good but nowhere great. We saw our server twice, to take our order and when he gave us the check. Please be aware that they automatically added a 20% gratuity to your check..I didn't appreciate that. Food was good but not great, especially considering the price and serving size. My wife ordered the Lamb Neck. We took most of it home and threw it away the next day.

Food: 3/5 Flavor was average and the portion was really small. I enjoyed the sauce on oyster and the octopus the most. Food came out really slow. Service: 5/5 Attentive and friendly. Had some nice convo with some of the servers. Ambiance: 3.5/5 nice medium size restaurant with a smart casual dress code. But the tables are really close to each other and I can hear the convo next to my party.
My second time with Edo.
This time we designed to do testing menu and yes, we not disappointed!! Foods are beautiful and delicious every single dashed. The service is very nice and kind, that they tell you about the story and what they make from. For this restaurant they do have a very nice Gin drink, that I always ordered. This one of the best Spain's restaurants for me in town and I would like you to come and try it, when you here in town.
It felt like being in Spain in the best way
From the prominence of the gin and tonic options on the menu to the deep roster of tapas choices, everything about EDO confirms a lineage to the dining scene of Spain. We had Pan con Tomate, Romano Green Beans and Pollo a la Plancha and the Spanish artisanal cheeses. The chef is a talent, and everyone there takes pride in their work. They should be proud, as they have a stake in an elite establishment.
Great vibe.
Very trendy. Tasty tapas menu with fun twists, not just your standard menu. Waiters were attentive and well versed on menu items.
I came to Anima by Edo for a birthday celebration and
I came to Anima by Edo for a birthday celebration and enjoyed the dinner we had here. The restaurant is tucked away in a quiet residential plaza called the Gramercy. We started off with drinks. I got a spicy margarita cocktail called "Spicy Stories" which was delicious! We opted for the tasting menu and added on the Massachusetts U10 scallops. The tasting menu started with a gazpacho which was nice and refreshing and lovely roasted tomato base flavor. The first course was the Peruvian scallops were delicious. It was seasoned in Tom' Kha sauce and lemongrass which gave it a wonderful southeast asian fragrance. 2nd one was smoked hamachi wrapping foie gras. This was amazing. The smoked hamachi had such great flavor and the foie gras was perfectly smooth and creamy and umami. Next two courses were the Okinawa sweet potato and artichoke salad. Both were a bit forgettable dishes. The salad needed improvement. The leafy greens were quite bitter and didn't seem curated or procured well. The sweet potato dish was just what it sounds like... a piece of baked sweet purple potato. Next we had spinach and ricotta ravioli and canelon. These were quite delicious and we enjoyed the homemade pastas. Then the added scallop dish was served. I do usually like scallops and this was decent but nothing spectacular. Last dish was pork cheek. The was delicious and the pork cheek was so nice soft and tender. Overall the tasting menu was not bad but does have room for improvement. I wouldn't say it blew me away but we enjoyed it overall still
Do not pass this place by.
Unbelievable. We were here two years ago and it was fantastic then. Just over the top. We had the tasting menu last night. It was plenty. Lots of creativity and great flavors. Very attentive service. Very small place and stuck in a strip mall. The entry looks beat but it hides an incredible experience. Can't recommend enough . Some of the best food we have ever had.
Crazy fabulous tasting menu.
My wife and I ordered the 7 course tasting menu, with an upgrade for Wagu beef, which I highly recommend. It was easily the best meal I’ve ever had. Such interesting and amazing flavors and textures. The staff was so cool in explaining each course and making us feel comfortable in how to eat things we’d never seen before. $300 for two with tip, but worth every penny. This was an experience my wife and I will remember forever.
Enjoy an evening at EDO Gastro
This little spot off the tourist path is a fabulous gem. We ordered several of each of the cold and hot appetizers and desserts. All were incredibly fresh and delicious. Wish we had done the tasting menu! Wine list paired well with the offerings and the service was quick and thorough and helpful.
You gotta do EDO!
Great experience. Food kept on coming. Service was quick and friendly. Best price for a taster menu. You will not be disappointed.

Hi, I have a reservation to Nobu Malibu, but since they don't do text or e-mail confirmations I haven't been able to get my reservation posted. I have posted a screen shot of the phone conversation on the listing, but it keeps getting rejected. If anyone has an idea how I can get it approved that would be much appreciated, thanks!

Write a note with the Name of the restaurant, Name on reservation, day/time/number of people, your phone number. Then on the bottom wrote “confirmed by phone”. Screenshot it and submit.
