Disappointed
Was there when first opened quite a while ago and loved it! Returned with family, what a disappointment! Prices ridiculous, shuck salad boring, tuna tartare average, laffa below average, fish nothing special. The cauliflower was good. Check online menu before you go, especially wine list. Would not recommend despite other reviews.

The food was awesome.. Had the cauliflower hummus and service is awesome.Mijeiry is the best. Also had the kale salad. Both were great. A must on the beach.

Being from Israel originally, I enjoy trying "Israeli restaurants" in cities I visit (mainly in the US). Since I was eating by myself I didnt have the chance to fully experience the menu since many items are designed for sharing (such as the salads, the hummus, etc.). The restaurant's design is cute and comfortable. My server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu (although I didnt need much help). I ordered the Octopus for starter and the Chicken Shish for the main. Both items were extremely delicious, well prepared and presented. Staring at the tables next to me I was envy of the other items such as the salads and the hummus but will have to return some time with a larger group to try it out.

Martinique was great guiding us on what to order. She had fabulous recommendations. Our favorite was the short rib and the jumbo prawns! Everything was really good. Highly recommended!
Be the first to ReplyOutstanding!
This was the first meal of our trip and the best meal of our trip The octopus was outstanding. It's the kind of place where even the house made pickles and olives were incredible. It's a little bit off the beaten path, but we enjoyed that, as it felt less touristy than the places nearer our hotel. Took an uber there, but enjoyed our walk back. It's a beautiful little jewel of a restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyOutrageous service and unethical behavior..
Terrible experience in Miami. We arrived at 9.30 PM, April the 26th, in accordance with the reservation made. A young server with clear eyes showed us the table advising that the kitchen was closing soon which gave us a sense of rush and pressure. While ordering the same server pushed us three times to order more food because what we ordered was not enough in his opinion. Of course we ended up ordering more than needed. While eating the restaurant staff started to remove tables and collect garbage. Attached a picture of the view from our table. Later on, during the dinner, a storm came. We ended up wet and we were said there was no room inside. While going to the restroom, I saw a table occupied by the restaurant staff busy drying up some forks and knives. Last but not least, the cherry on top, while paying the check (we payed with 5 credit cards) I spotted the same server (young with clear eyes) leaving 5 positive feedbacks to the restaurant machine app, on our behalf and without asking if everything was good. I found it very unfair and unethical for the restaurant management and owner which have probably been receiving misleading fake feedbacks for a long time by now. The food was good, the service very poor and none of the dinner party components will ever be back here. I hope this helps the management to address the outrageous behavior of this person because it was a very frustrating experience.

Be the first to ReplyHigh Quality Mediterranean Cusisne and service in the heart of South Beach!
Such a great find for Mediterranean cuisine in Sobe. Highly recommend it in terms of food and service. Luis was a great server and paid very close attention to detail! Will definitely be back soon!

Be the first to ReplyGreat food, but for the price the service was a huge letdown
Food - 5 out of 5. Absolutely delicious. The trio of dips was really good, I highly recommend going for that. Enough there for even 4 people to share. The black grouper main was good too, I also recommend. Pricing - 3 out of 5. A little on the high side, I think the fair price should have been like 10-15% lower, for the portions and the quality. Service - 1 out of 5. Oh dear. Our waiter (Achral?) was spread across too many tables, took forever to get service at times. When we ordered our food, he was so insistent that we'd not ordered enough dishes. But it turned out to be just perfect, in fact we felt a bit too full afterwards! He came back once or twice more to suggest that we order more too. Then when our plates were cleared, we had to wait a long time, finally flagging him down to order desserts, and to clean our table. Then after the bill came, he was also incognito for a long time, and basically the other waiter took pity on us and came to process our payment. He also recommended dishes that weren't very suitable; for example we asked for his recommendation of extra bread for the trio of dips. He recommended a bread... that already had lots of oil and zatar spices on top. Whereas something plain like pita or sesame bagels would have worked better. So overall, the food was good, but for this level of restaurant and pricing, one expects the service to be much, much better.

Grabbed a late Sunday brunch here and it blew us away! The staff are all super nice and our waiter helped us through the menu which was appreciated. We started with babaganush and falafel and both were fantastic, specifically the falafel. We moved on to fattoush salad (amazingly seasoned) and lamb kofte pita, all were so good! Tried a rose wine from Jerusalem and it was very nice, although the spiked lemonanno was my fav drink. This place was delicious and staff friendly in a chill atmosphere- will def return and recommend to everyone!

Be the first to ReplyModern Middle Eastern food
This is the first time we tried "modernized" Middle Eastern food, and we loved it. The dishes we ordered are: Roasted beets, Muhammara, Falafel, Sumac Chicken Shashlik, Date-Caramel Cake and Baklava. Every dish was super flavorful.

We had a delicious lunch at Abbale Tekavvian Kitchn today and we LOVED T. Service was charming, if a bit relaxed. The food was just amazing. Unique. We have been to Israelmany times, but I have never had black tahini before and it is delicious! All the Isreli salads and pickles are remarkable, as good as Mahane Yehuda. I had a feafel pits, and it was a cut above the usual to say the least. The pastry -- baklava -- was the best I have ever tasted, the flakiest of crusts. Small place, eat outsidde if you can.
Be the first to ReplyA must go for brunch
One of my favorite brunch/lunch spots in Miami (located in South of Fifth neighborhood), next door to Planta. Such a cute place and good vibe…there’s valet, indoor and outdoor seating. The pros: Service was on point - Nicole was bubbly, helpful and attentive. I certainly couldn’t be that happy & helpful in the morning so that was refreshing. Food hits the spot every time. There’s so much variety to the menu that you can go heavy with a shakahuka, or light with a salad, or just have a variety of small plates. Hands down my favorites are their pretty lattes and the Mesabecha with the bagel is beyond. The only reason why I come here. I had the Israeli crunchy kale with sumac chicken and hubby had the shakshuka - all good. The cons: Did NOT love the blonde hostess’ attitude. She sat on her phone and didn’t acknowledge one person walking up outside. Luckily the younger woman who was working and seating did her job. It was brutally hot and people were waiting…had she just looked up she could have helped multiple tables. Bad 1st impression. I get the new trend of Instagram ambience but plastic hanging flowers/plants gives me the creeps because they eventually turn into dust havens and where creatures hide. Looks cute from a distance, but if you have to sit at the 2-top bar, you get a good look. 😳 I just hope they stay on top of it.
