My husband, fur baby & I stayed for the weekend and
My husband, fur baby & I stayed for the weekend and absolutely loved our visit. We stayed in the Beach Suite, which was clean, spacious & comfortable. The breakfast each morning was out of this world... Just the smell alone, wafting up the stairs was enough to make you hungry. As a vegetarian (who doesn't eat eggs), Victor & Cam prepared a delicious breakfast for me. Also, Cam's blueberry muffins are chef's kiss! The enclosed backyard is a nice perk, my little guy loved running around & sniffing everything. The owners have an elderly dog, Molly, who is an absolute sweetheart - Very welcoming to us newcomers invading her space. We will absolutely come back! I just asked my husband what he would like to add to the review and he simply said "it was too short". So there you have it!

Cam and Victor have such a beautiful bed and breakfast! It is conveniently located and such a hospitable owners. The nature you have around the house is divine and walking distance to town and beach! The house is so clean and dog friendly! Words can't express the peace and calm felt when there. Thank you!

It was a beautifully restored old home with great proximity to the beach and The town of Amagansett. Room was great, hosts were friendly and breakfast was good. My only complaint is that dogs were allowed in the small dining room during breakfast. I'll readily admit I'm not a dog person (ok, not at all!!) and the establishment was billed as "dog friendly". It never ceases to amaze me, however, how these flakes can't leave their dogs for a moment so we can enjoy breakfast. I'm sure this place works for the dog contingent but I'll pass next time. If you're not bringing your dog or into dogs, I'd pick another place.

We had a wonderful 3 nights this past week at 434 Main in Amagansett. Cam and Victor did a beautiful job helping us feel welcome, giving us great suggestions, and making us feel safe and well-cared for at every turn. The inn and our room was perfectly designed for comfort and relaxation. And the breakfast! OMG we had the best breakfasts I have ever had in my life. I didn't even know that breakfast food could be so inventive and delicious. I highly recommend 434 on Main to anyone wanting to enjoy the Hamptons area.

Our (me, my husband and our lab/husky mix Jade) stay at 434 Main was above and beyond amazing! Cam, Victor and Molly are such kind and generous hosts. The space was beautiful, clean, and COVID safe. Our room (we stayed in the Beach room) was soooo nice, spacious & comfortable - the bathroom is incredible with a beautiful tub and huge rainfall shower! The YARD is amazing and a beautiful space for you and your pup to run around freely. Also the location is so convenient with shops just down the road as well as the beach. We were there in "off peak" season but had pretty great weather. Cam and Victor's breakfasts are also sooo delicious (the biscuits!!!). We can't say enough about how great this visit was- and so thankful for their hospitality- and loving on our Jadey girl. We'll definitely be back!
Be the first to ReplySpent an amazing long weekend here over 4th of July.
The breakfast was amazing, the rooms comfortable and clean (beautiful bathroom too). Perfect location if you don't have a car like us - walkable to the train, beach, and town square.

My travel buddy and I made the trip from Newport, RI to Amagansett last weekend to see Rufus Wainwright perform at The Stephen Talkhouse. We chose 434 On Main for its location, just 1/2 mile from The Talkhouse. It exceeded our expectations greatly. Cam and Victor were wonderful hosts and I even liked Molly, their Standard Poodle. This is saying a lot because I am afraid of dogs. Molly though, was calm and quiet, everything I hope for in a dog. The rooms were beautiful (We had the Beach Suite, 2 rooms, plus a shared bath, with a Queen Bed in one and a very comfortable fold out sofa in the other) and the daily breakfast was wonderful, including juice, fruit, pastry and an entree with breakfast meat. I told Victor that I only eat eggs when they are in cake, and he and Cam accommodated my preferences. Some other guests, at their request, received vegan breakfasts. Have I described the bathroom? It contained a freestanding bathtub plus a walk-in shower that measured at least 5'x5'. You could use the shower either wall mounted or hand held. It was superior to any shower I have ever owned. We were able to walk safely to and from town, even at 10pm. Walking to the show, we were happy to meet Rufus and his family in front of the venue and spent 2-3 minutes chatting with them. The concert was great. I would be happy to return to Amagansett and to 434 On Main.

My husband and I were so pleased with our stay at 434 on Main, as well as our teenage daughter! The owners were so kind, offered to help us with our small pup Lucy which we brought along for the weekend, and the location was amazing! Every morning they made a delicious homemade breakfast for us. We walked into town for coffee and smoothies - great 5 minute walk. And we were also able to walk 3/4 mile to the beach. It was a surprisingly pleasant and lovely getaway! Great value, Amagansetts best kept secret!

I went to 434 on main this weekend, and it was wonderful! Victor and Cam were so welcoming, and their dog Molly was very sweet. I have a food allergy, and I have never had baked goods so tasty and well made (even in NYC with Vegan bakeries everywhere). They were so accommodating and pleasant, and the other people staying at the B&B were nice to chat with at breakfast! They have a lovely home, and I would definitely go back! Terrific B&B and a great quiet town with a nice 45 minute walk from East Hampton. A great break from the city!

An amazing place to spend the weekend! Walking/biking distance from atlantic beach (a nice quiet beach), across the street from the ammaganset LIRR station, and walking distance from the town itself. It's a newly renovated house but still keeps the look of the old hamptons. And the walk in shower was such a luxury! And I don't think you could ask for a better breakfast. Homemade pastries, biscuits, waffles, omelettes - something unique and delicious each morning.
