15 Stamford by Alvin Leung Singapore Reviews from The Last Year
Best Place to Hang out after a Stressful Day
Being a regular at The Bar at 15 Stanford, I really loved the team there. They are always attentive and friendly, especially Tim, who is always so creative. As someone who doesn't like to order from the Menu, Tim will always know what drinks suit my taste bud which always made my day, and made it less stressful. Best place to hang out after a stressful day. Thanks for always making my day!
Do not go here. Terrible service and aggression from Tim
Terrible service. I was on dry January and asked for an Amaretti Sour, with one block of ice. The bartender (Tim) comes to me and says - sorry we can’t do mocktails with one block of ice. Only cocktails. I ask why - because anyone who has ever had a cocktail knows that the whole drink gets diluted in a few minutes if there are bunch of ice chips in there. This is where it got really strange. Tim got aggressive and said something along the lines of: good to know you know all that, but this is what I know - a block of ice costs 65 cents. Cents, not 6.5$, but $0.65. Understanding the economics of the business, here are a few ways he could have dealt with it: (1) just charged me that amount and asked - would you mind if we add a small extra (I doubt anyone would mind, I certainly wouldn’t) or MAYBE (2) thrown in a free $0.65 ice cube and gotten the $15 cocktail and any/all future revenues from me, coz I am definitely not going back. Add to this was his aggression and really toxic sarcasm - phrases like “good for you, but we don’t do it”, “oh that’s impressive” etc. Not what I thought the evening would turn out to be - no one wants to head to a bar and have to deal with more stress. Especially in a city with the best cocktail bars, this is terrible for a Kempinski. Bad business move to throw service to the winds for $65c
Exceptionally tasty and friendly for a hotel restaurant.
We decided on the spur of the moment to go to the Stamford after the "reception" in the neighboring steak and sushi shop was not very inviting. Very good choice. The tarar and tomatoes were great, as were the steak and scampi. We had a lovely evening!
Great food and service
Excellent service, great ambience and the food was good. We had the restaurant week menu and the beef short ribs and desserts were very good. They also provided us with an extra dessert because we were celebrating our anniversary.
Breakfast
We stayed at the kempinski and this is also the breakfast restaurant, in addition to being a celebrity chef restaurant for lunch and dinner Breakfast seems high end to match with kempinski and the celebrity chef - bee’s wax honey etc. But the items are similar to other 5 star hotels in asia, if not more limitef. The egg station is not convenient if u just want to grab soft or hard boiled eggs in your own, you have to wait/queue 7/10
A good place for dinner
Service from Ivan from top notch! His recommendation, service and sincerity was 11/10. He brought the experience here in 15 Stamford from a 7/10 to a 10/10 one. The dishes itself was ok. But what amazed me was how the sauce/sides served complimented so well with the mains. The octopus eaten alone was mediocre but was really mindblowing when eaten tgt with the sauce + anchovy + onions. The same with the foie gras kaya toast. The black cod was needless to say - good. I loved the crust of the fish skin - a work of art. you can skip the wagyu ramp cap - not worth.
Service and ambience was good, food was above average
Would rate it a 4.5 if I could, but there’s not 0.5 in TripAdvisor so 4.0 it is. The black cod was REALLY GOOD! The others I had were mediocre- others being rump cap wagyu, kaya toast foie gras and octopus. But aside from the food, the service by Ivan was great! He was good and honest in his recommendations and was really nice and is the reason for the additional 0.5! The ambience was also great, perfect for a fancy night out with a date or friends/family.
Amazing 👏
Amazing dinner, good food and excellent service by serene and very friendly ladies at the reception.
Worth every penny
My wife and I came for my birthday dinner (28 June) & it was a wonderful experience thanks to the attentive and professional staff! We had the Foie Gras Kaya Toast with egg foam, Hiramasa Kingfish, Beef Tartare with Oyster Hollandaise, & Lamb rack. Highly recommend all these dishes as they definitely lived up to its 2 Michelin starred chef reputation.

That's what AT sponsorships are for - and you are only paying 25% in the first year and then less in year two and three.
I beliebe @EternalAnt36 was sponsored by @PerceptiveWash44 and is now doing $25k/mo.
You can write on the top sellers profiles (type 'Top 10' in the searchbar) and then tap request sponsorship button after you found the guy or gal like to work with!
