Nice restaurant
We were 2 couple who ate here for dinner. The food was good. The atmosphere was really nice My husband had the wild boar pasta and loved it. I had the sliced steak and potatoes. It was really good.
A horrible experience.
A horrible experience. If you're solo, don't try to eat here. More than half of the tables are free, but there is no room for solo customers. Tables are free, but there is no table for 1 Total discrimination. Discouraged. Florence, shame on such places.
Worst meal in Italy so far
Honestly, from the moment we got in line it was like a machine. And it continued throughout the evening. The server was nice enough to let me taste a wine first. But then he brought the bottle and it took him another 5-10 minutes to open it. He brought bread with no plates or olive oil. We shared some fried polenta with pate and mushrooms. The polenta was hard. I understand it should be crunchy when you fry it. But it should be soft inside. I had a boneless chicken breast and like another review mentioned, it had bones in it. My husband had bland pasta bolognese. Service was at the beginning and again when we asked for the check. No mention of dessert, an after dinner drink or a limoncello. It was inexpensive though. I don't understand what makes throngs of people come here when there are so many wonderful places in Florence. Also I have to mention that I never write a bad review. If I have a problem I address it with the owners. But this place really is a big machine. This review won't make any impact.
Superb restaurant
We booked on the advice and recommendation of friends of ours in France who run a restaurant . We were not disappointed . Be warned the 'lines' or queues to be proper English about this were huge....there was a 2 hour wait when we arrived, but luckily as we had booked we were sat within 10 minutes of arrival. The place itself is huge , very eclectic, with outside rooms and plenty of rooms and cubby holes inside. It's quite labrynthine ...but the better for it. We were beautifully looked after by Allesandro Cuocolo for the night, who answered our questions politely and knowledgeably, and ensured everything went smoothly. The wine was excellent, but we kind of know what we like, and we also treated ourselves to a Zaza Spritz on arrival. Every aspect of the meal was superb, barring the tripe portion on our shared starter ( a local delicacy but pretty grim in my view) - however everything was delicious. The main courses were good portions as well, and the Affogato (my favourite dessert) was to die for. Overall the cost ws far more reasonable than we'd expected for such top notch food and drink, in an excellent ambience. Well worth booking, and a place we would defintely eat in again

Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Trattoria Zà Zà Firenze to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Trattoria Zà Zà Firenze!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
