Asanebo Los Angeles Reviews
Loved the delicious sushi here.
Got the omakase. Awesome. Staff are just great all around!
We had the Asanebo Tasting Course and it was amazing.
Every ingredient was high quality, the service was excellent and the attention to detail is incredible. Everyone is super friendly! We were the first customers of the day and the chef was super attentive. Definitely worth the price. We're defini
Asanebo is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in LA.
This is not a performative mid sushi place hyped up like nobu or sugar fish. Here you get Japan level quality in everything you order. EVEN THE TAKEOUT IS AMAZING- which says a lot cause most places can't say that. My parents have been coming he
Amazing sushi and experience with the attention to detail
Amazing sushi and experience with the attention to detail in their ingredients and end product. Everything tasted fantastic! Service was great as well!
Such an amazing dining experience wooow.
Such a Studio City gem in an unassuming strip mall. They deserve that spot on the michelin guide and then some. First off the staff were super accosting about me changing the size of my party on my reservation twice before we actually finalized it.
Hands down the best sushi in LA.
The staff is always welcoming and kind and the food is always out of this world. For the most part people are regulars, you see a lot of the same faces which speaks to how much everyone loves Asanebo!!!
10/10 some of the best sushi I've had in LA.
Aside from the amazing food, the staff is caring and truly treats you like relatives. The ambiance is calm, intimate, and lovely. Highly recommend this place, Asanebo Style!
Lovely restaurant on Ventura with great service.
We visited on a Sunday evening. We ordered the omakase, the sushi was super fresh, would definitely go again.
This restaurant is truly a gem.
For starters, the severs and chefs are so unbelievably sweet. The sushi is amazingly fresh. For sure top 10. I would love to come back here and try more from the menu. The toro nigiri was out of this world.
I ordered a sashimi.
Plate. And a sushi roll. I ask Ken you at extra spicy mayo. And he said no spicy mayo. In Japan we don't use spicy sauce. I understand. In Japan they don't use spicy mayo. He got mad .
The sets the bar for all subsequent Sushi
As good as it gets. Attentive staff and superb food. Pricey but well worth it. Very nice atmosphere.
the best sushi in LA - hands down.
I've narrowed down my top two sushi places in all of LA and this is certainly the top of the list. The sushi is beyond the best and the service is superior. Pricing leans on the high side however you're getting a great experience in return
Fantastic experience
Both the food and service were exceptional. It was my second visit to Asanebo and my expectations were very high, I was not disappointed. My family guests were equally impressed. Thank you.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Asanebo Los Angeles at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Asanebo Los Angeles page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* BraveCloth47, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* BraveCloth47 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to BraveCloth47 for any questions Peter may have as BraveCloth47 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* BraveCloth47 now uses their connections at Asanebo Los Angeles to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If BraveCloth47 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, BraveCloth47 receives the $200 reward which is credited to BraveCloth47's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Asanebo Los Angeles!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
