The Best experience Ever
This exceptional restaurant from chef Albert Adria es warranty on every aspect of, flavor’s are innovated and explosive, presentation of each plate so well and incredible textures; the service is amazing, so well prepared and knowledgeable, but at the same time so friendly, approachable and polite. You feel the fresh ingredients on every single bite;and the wines the sommelier pick for the Spanish sample wine tasting; the ambiance is incredible calm but not on any way presumptuous; they make you really feel comfortable and enjoyable. This is was a unique experience.

Creative molecular gastronomy if that is your thing (ex El Bulli). Extra points for playing the (original) Blade Runner soundtrack in the bathroom, how cool is that. I particularly enjoyed the conceptually clever dishes which were memorable and absolutely delightful: - deconstructed soup - sea cucumber dish - life cycle of the prawn - salad greens with breaking ice - Sopressata imitation tartare - truffle ravioli - mochi cocktail made in front of you - foie gras flan with soy sauce glaze Others that were very tasty - mussel jelly - coconut jelly with caviar - four kinds of squid dish - mushroom cracker dish that was beautiful There was a bit of confusion with our waiter around the cocktails that were part of the prix fixe - I didn't want to order alcohol so staff mistakenly assumed I wouldn't want to try the bite sized cocktails that were part of the menu. It was a bummer I missed those as the virgin versions I got were surely not nearly as good. Overall, almost surely better than a Michelin one star and also better than some of the low effort two stars I've tried (NYC sampling). Price point was a bit higher given local area prices but it's acceptable for not having to WAIT A YEAR (what the heck, Disfrutar and DiverXO). Worth a visit for sure. They overhaul their menu once a year so I might try again next time I'm in Barcelona!
Just amazing
Why can we only give five stars? This restaurant is the absolute top. Who decided to give them only one Michelin star? This is worth at least two compared to other restaurants from that category. Actually the concept from this restaurant is beyond comparison. It’s a nearly 4 hours experience with high standard cuisine dishes one more original then another and all very good. It’a great idea to have somebody finishing nearly every dish at your table with all the explanations needed. The service is exceptional: what an attentive staff! And then there’s the setting: a very nice experimental architecture that suites the whole atmosphere of this culinary event. Just great- we go back asap!
Too good for a single star!!
We luckily managed to get a table here on Friday lunchtime, and it was an unforgettable experience. We went for the 25-course menu, and it was a masterclass of creativity and balance from the man who was one of the architects of modernist cuisine. The staff were very professional, with timings and movements carefully choreographed, yet they managed to keep a casual air that put as at ease. For a person of Albert's stature, some other chefs may feel they need to go all out on the avant-garde to completely show their skill set, but alongside dishes like buffalo mozzarella in soufflé was simple things like lemon jelly ( this was the perfect dish to have when we had it) The highlight for me was to see Albert there, although not flouncing around the dining looking for platitudes but in the kitchen with his team.
World Class
Eating at one of Albert Adrias restaurants was a dream come true. Truly faultless from the welcome to the chefs prepping your food infront of you. And the attention to detail was inspiring. Some of the most amazing food I have ever tasted and certainly the most creative, evocative and memorable food. An honour to dine here and sample the food of Albert Adria and his legacy on modern gastronomy.

Amazing and way better than the Michelin 1 Star rating
I have been fortunate to eat at 30+ Michelin Star restaurants and this is certainly one of the best. You are greeted to a surreal environment (we thought is was very cool), then you meet the kitchen staff (first time for us), then brought to your table which are very nicely spaced out. We opted for the standard 200 Euro 24 course dinner (yes that's a lot of dishes but they are bite size and small.) I opted for the wine pairing (100 Euros for 8 pours which were small but plenty). Pace was brisk and they managed to make it through all 24 courses in 3 hours. Overall the food was amazing...there was a few things we didn't like but you have the luxury of skipping and moving on to the next thing. Some of the dishes were incredibly creative. Overall expensive but honhestly this is more of a 2 Star in my opinion. Well worth going for a special occasion.
Fabulous
We had the Lobo (Wolf) menu and enjoyed every second of it. Admittedly, there were some dishes that we absolutely loved and others that weren’t so much to our taste but the whole experience was amazing, from start to finish. The precision with which everything was done was a wonder to behold, both in terms of the amazing cuisine and the timing of the service, which was faultless. Our server, Ophelia, was first class - a real credit to the restaurant - qnd someone who made our night extra special. Thank you.

An exceptional lunchtime dining experience, experience being the only way to describe this amazing restaurant. We had the Wolf menu, highly recommended for guests who are foodies. Every dish delivered to our table was delicious, sometimes theatre, sometimes a quick bite but every time amazing. The environment is dreamy, like being in the clouds. The thing that brought the whole thing together were the amazing staff, we’ve never had such professionalism with great characters and personalities, a truly unique dining experience!

An experience from start to finish that takes you on a culinary journey. This Michelin Star meal was worth every penny. The service was impeccable. Visited for my birthday and will never forget this meal. From the moment you walk in they make you feel important, they take you to a room where they offer you the first item you taste, it was some sort of lettuce kefir, they hand you a hot moist towelette to clean your hands before entering which almost felt like a tea ceremony, then you walk through a long hallway where at the end every restaurant employee is lined up to greet you. It almost felt like a scene from the movie THE MENU. After you are seated the experience begins, there was about 25 items you tasted and a beautiful wine pairing, even my 10 year old fully enjoyed the experience as he's a foodie and the restaurant was nice to let us bring him. I recommend you try this restaurant, thank me later. Please enjoy some of the photos of our experience
Utterly fabulous
We have eaten in many, many Michelin Starred restaurants but this place just blew us away. The decor, the atmosphere, the food but most of all the staff were just fabulous. We absolutely loved it 👍
Overpriced themeless fixed menu
You can’t order anything a la carte, you’re not told it’s fixed menu only, it’s min 220eur for a range of weird tastes that are mostly just slimy and without any theme or special wow factor, so very disappointing, we would have walked out but for the fact they threatened to charge our card eur100 for making the reservation. Comical and pretentious beyond measure. It’s a funny story, but one I could have preferred to not have had.

I had the great experience of dining at Enigma in October 2023. The service was outstanding, your time with them starts with a tour of the restaurant and you are greeted by the chefs before finding your seat to find. The ambiance is second to none, this restaurant is stunning, looks and feels like a dream. The dining experience consists of about 30 dishes that showcase an expansive creative process and provide a unique bite of ingredients that I haven't had together before. The standouts for me were the basil air waffle and pistachio cream, coconut jelly with Califlower and caviar ponzu sauce, and a coconut Iberian ham. The coconut that tasted just like Iberian ham was outstanding and my favorite bite in Barcelona. This is a must visit destination. Would highly recommend.

Our dining experience at Enigma was incredible, 30 different bites paired with Spanish wines The experience began the moment we stepped foot inside the restaurant. The decor, the staff, the service, the food, the wine, all incredible. Nitro cloud with mezcal cream, basil air waffle with pistachio cream, earl grey ravioli, prawns 4 ways, melon sashimi and a variety of desserts The ambience of Enigma is note worthy. Dim lighting and soft background music. Make sure to add this to the top of your Barcelona list.
Really a cool place.
It's a little goofy & obviously very expensive, but the service alone makes it worth a visit. Monica and Salvatore were both so incredibly pleasant, and Monica is VERY accommodating of allergens. The food is so interesting, the venue is very unique, definitely visit if you have the budget. Didn't take many photos of the meal, but I promise you'll be surprised.

this place is an "experience" and it feels that way as soon as you enter the door. is it expensive? yes. is it a parade of culinary delight? also yes. the service was nearly flawless they had a dish that was a piece of succulent pork between two pieces of meringue and i SWEAR it tasted like the best mcdonalds chicken nugget ever cooked by ronald himself. blew my mind. the wine pairings were excellent as well and it was a lot of fun though we didn't leave either full OR drunk if you like fancy FANCY and delicious, Enigma delivers big time
Simply amazing
This was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our waiter, Monica was a gem in this place and truly made it an experience for my wife and I to enjoy. Every item was shock to the senses and left us confused and smiling with how it this tastes so good. The sommelier was Amazing too and was very helpful with picking the best wine based on what we like. The price is a lot and it is hard to get an idea on how much it costs a person given they work on a custom dining experience in which you waiter will pick items on the menu for you and work with you preferences to given you a tailored tasting menu. My recommendation for anyone going is be prepare for it to be 300 euro a person with your alcohol included. Overall it was a lot but as my wife says it is an experience you need to have and I agree with her. Defiantly a place to visit if you love Amazing food experiences

I cannot fathom how anyone could rate this restaurant 1 star and claim it "uninventive"... To be completely honest we almost cancelled our reservation last minute because of the reviews... I URGE you, do not do that!!! We recently visited Enigma during a little two week food tour of Europe visiting four different "World's Best" & Michelin starred restaurants (that sounds obnoxious, I know), countless, amazing hole-in-the-wall mom and pop restaurants, street food stalls, and everything in between, and Enigma was at the top of our list. The ambiance was otherworldly and the service was some of the best we've ever had. Monica was the perfect mix of professional and easy going and made our experience unforgettable. The food wasn't only inventive it was downright delicious. At some tasting menu restaurants I'll find myself having to choke down at least a few plates because the flavors aren't completely pleasing to me but I'm trying to be respectful and finish all of my food - but I never once felt that at Enigma. I happily ate up every bite. Can't wait to visit again when we return to Barcelona!

It was indeed an experience. My sister and i took the “surprise” menu. Sadly, we didn’t get dessert. We should have. The staff helped us curate a tasting menu. And gave us the expected total price before we started.
An odd but entertaining option for stunning cocktails and unique tapas
Visited twice in one week, once for ‘afternoon drinks’ and once in the evening. There was no real difference in the experience other than the music was a bit louder in the evening. We had the same array of great cocktails, lovely champagne and strange and wonderful snacks. You can pick and choose what you like, we were not instructed to take a tasting menu or that there was a minimum spend, as some others have suggested, but we did spend around €150-200 each anyway which was just what we expected given the info on the website beforehand. It seems it may have changed a bit since we visited in its opening week. The only strange thing was that they seem to close early, we would happily have kept on exploring the wine and cocktail list and picking up snacks, but they close earlier than any restaurant in Barcelona it seems! One disappointment was the option to go to the burger bar, it’s a great burger sure but there are great burgers in a lot of places these days and there was nothing unique about it as with almost all of the other courses which were very innovative, especially the campari meringue, and the perfected chicken wings. The environment is weird, it’s a combination of being in a spaceship or artificial womb, with somewhat intrusive music and nightclub like lighting, but just relax and go with it and it’s a lot of fun.
Lack of credibility
My friends and I had dinner at Enigma and were given the option of ordering a la carte (minimum euro 100/person or partake of the “surprise taster’s menu.” When we asked for the cost, we were informed it would be Euro 150/person. We agreed on the taster menu. Before we started, the waiter said it was more in the range of Euro 150-190 per person. We said okay. As the courses started to come in, I kept track of the cost. When it shot past Euro 200 and continued to climb, I finally told them to stop the additional courses. Final bill was about Euro 240/person, and I was so glad I kept tabs and stopped the additional dishes. I guess when the waiter said it was a “surprise taster’s menu,” we didn’t realize that the waiter didn’t know how to do sums. Spoiled the experience for us. Enigma would do better to provide a more accurate estimate or at least keep to their given estimate. Credibility should also be a high value for their reputation. That dinner, it was missing
Albert Adria keeps surprising!
Had to book a table in advance: but it was well worth it. A suprise menu; literally mindblowing and surpising courses. Beautyfull how he brings national ingredients (tomato, olive oil) to the next level. The interior is special, and may not be what you like, but the food makes up to it.

If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Enigma Barcelona at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Enigma Barcelona page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Enigma Barcelona to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Enigma Barcelona!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
