360 The Restaurant at the CN Tower Toronto Reviews from The Last Year
BEWARE OF JEFF THE SERVER
If you want bland overpriced food then come here! The food is not worth the price at all. The view is beautiful but you should just pay for the observation deck and eat somewhere else. BEWARE BEWARE OF JEFF THE SERVER! After dinner and dessert, I asked for the check and went to pay with my card. JEFF tried to cover his hand over the card reader machine which he added his own gratuity of 25%, if I didn’t catch it before I used my card he would have just taken my money and walked away. I had to ask him to give me the machine so I could remove it and add my own gratuity. I did tip just because the bus boy was doing all the work for our table and I believe they spilt it. Gratuity is not mandatory and is definitely not up to the server to choose what they get! That was a very disrespectful, disappointing, and disgusting act for him to do! He was trying to take advantage of me and my family which left us with a bad feeling. How many times has he probably done this to other people dining there without them noticing?! I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVER!!!!!
The 360 Restaurant takes 72 minutes to complete one full
The 360 Restaurant takes 72 minutes to complete one full revolution. Dinner at 360 was Seriously Overrated. The appetizer was good but the salmon was dry over cooked, potatoes and green beans needed seasoning, bland main dish with an oily aftertaste. The dessert, when we asked the waiter what's is called he said it was raspberry, with cake, sweet stuff in the middle sprinkled with nuts. Reminds me of the cheap cake purchased in supermarket . What was good - The view perfect - otherwise have dinner somewhere else first.
Spectacular Sunset
We enjoyed the revolving restaurant experience and found the menu to our liking, with dishes well presented and served in a timely and friendly manner. Actually the food was better than some reviews had led us to expect, which was a bonus! Yes, it is expensive but the 360 includes the lift and the observation deck, so overall value is OK, and we did get a spectacular sunset, by timing our visit to arrive just before dusk.
Great views of the city! That's really what you are paying
Great views of the city! That's really what you are paying for when you book the reservation so keep that in mind. The food was decent and great value for the scenery. We had the pork special and Bison.
Unmissable view!
Great food and breathtaking views! We didn't make a reservation on a sunny Saturday, but we went up in less than 5 minutes of waiting. The ticket price + the chosen menu is reasonable for the experience and the best option for going up to the observatory without queues.
It is a romantic setting closer to the stars.
We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The unique seating area, slowly revolving to take in the Toronto landscape, was delightful. The waiting staff were very professional and special thanks to Eric, who was very helpful and explained the menu options, etc. The three courses we had were all delicious. We had the prime rib eye, cooked just how like it. All in all, it was a great experience.
Panoramic lunch
Fantastic views of Lake Ontario and Toronto. I had plenty of time to admire the architecture from a bird's eye view. Plus the lunch was delicious.
Best way to see the views
So much better for views than observation deck so definitely recommend! Food lovely, and good variety on menu. Service was ok - very busy when we went. food came quickly but things such as paying the bill/ordering took a while.
Great experience
Nestled in the heart of the CN Tower, 351 m above the ground, this restaurant has a panoramic view that rotates 360 degrees (approximately 72 minutes to take a tour). The view of Toronto and its outskirts is magnificent day and night, and eating that high up is incredible. The decoration and service are of good standard. Fast service. The dishes are well presented, crafted and very good. I opted for the Aboriginal menu which introduced me to bison, a very tender and succulent meat. There is a wide choice of cocktails and drinks, knowing that the restaurant houses one of the largest wine cellars in Canada. The prices are obviously higher than average, but if you think about it overall, you will pay at least $75/person (but knowing that the single ticket for the CN Tower is $45) including the restaurant and the possibility after the meal to access the lower floor to have a high view of the entire city.
View ****** + Food *** + Wine by the glass (…) = ***
The view is amazing, there's no question about it, it's worth it in itself. The cuisine is pretentious, but only average. The need to collect at least $75 Canadian is understandable, but the explicit obligation to spend it is rather annoying. You definitely increase the quality of the offer and manage to justify any price. That from the three-course menu proposed by the chef (he must have chosen it, right?), they go so far as to say that they have run out of an accompaniment and that it will be replaced by mashed potatoes, seems very questionable to me, as does the waiter who, when you ask for a well-cooked pork, he points out that it then dries out... so much so that what was requested with medium cooking arrived not sufficiently cooked (when have you ever seen rare pork?!?). The bottom of the barrel is wine by the glass, all local. Of the two ordered, one cabernet-franc was borderline drinkable, the other, a pinot noir, absolutely undrinkable. We ordered a Sprite to lengthen them... The waiter (an Indian, who knows if he has ever had a drop of alcohol), tried to convince me that they are highly appreciated wines (certainly, by whom?) and that if I wanted a better wine I would have had to take a "reserve" ... which among the wines by the glass was not available ... Gastronomy to be reviewed, although obviously, in a place like this, with guaranteed customers who come once in a lifetime, there is no need to change ...
The best way to enjoy the CN Tower
We were so glad we booked a meal in the 360 Restaurant as part of our visit to the CN Tower. We were only able to get a 17:45 table but this turned out to be perfect timing. We started our meal in beautiful sunlight, the restaurant takes 72 minutes to rotate, and we were then able to see dusk fall from the observation tower. We ordered the 2 course menu (which is the minimum spend required for a visit) and our food was very good, as were the cocktails. Spending a couple of hours up the tower enjoying a delicious meal while taking in the ever changing views, really felt like the best way to experience the CN Tower.
Must do place to eat
Amazing views, food and staff. We booked a table at 1945 as sunset was 2030. What we didn't know is that it takes about an hour for the restaurant to rotate and we didn't quite make it round for the sunset. The views were still great in late sub and night. Try the indigenous menu, we thought it was really good.
View is spectacular! Service is top notch.
Food is average. You are paying for the view, if you know and accept that going in, you will have a great experience.
Amazing view for downtown Toronto.
The food looks fresh and tastes good. I ordered the lamb and Caesar salad, both are delicious.
This place did not disappoint.
You always feel like these restaurants wouldn't be as great when they become the tourist thing to do. We decided to make reservations here since our 3 course dinner would also include the ticket to the Observatory. The service was great and fast with our drinks along with the beautiful view of the skyscrapers, waterfront and sunset. It takes the restaurant approximately 72minutes to do a full circle around the tower and you'll get a different view. Once dinner is over they have an entry directly from the restaurant straight to the observatory where you get to just wander around at your own leisure. Part of it was/is under renovation so I am not certain if you are able to step outside at any time.
Surprised that the entrance is the same as the ticketed
Surprised that the entrance is the same as the ticketed looking place, but found out that's the security for the entire building. After security, there is a separate check in for the restaurant. Then you head up a ramp that separates the attraction folks with the restaurant patrons. There is a photo op before you check in for your reservation- I ended up buying the pic because it was so great! So hang on to that receipt for exiting the building after dinner/observation deck. Then you see the check in desk. There are separate elevators for the restaurant and the attraction, because the restaurant is 351m high, whereas the attraction is less, about 340. The elevator ride is great! You can see the city from the elevator door. Also you can see the elevator shaft from the floor. It goes up fairly quickly and you can feel your ears pop. As you come out of the elevator, you will see the host and be seated. Remember your aisle number so you can find your table if you get up to use the restroom. Restrooms are in the center core, there are two of them for women that I saw, both with multiple stalls. Be careful as you walk- servers and bussers are coming through the core quickly. I was seated by the window! Yay! Seems that window tables are smaller than the main core tables. So if you've got six in your party, you probably won't be seated by the window. But I saw parties of 1-5. Service is quick because each table has a 2 hour limit. I ordered the two course prix fixe menu for $75 because it includes entry to the observation deck. However- after eating at the restaurant, you really don't need that at all. After dinner I went down the stairs to the observation level and found a bar that was closed, a bunch of people seated at tables and many folks taking selfies and pics by the windows. There's plenty of space and no time limit. But I had seen it all at dinner- one revolution of the restaurant takes 1 hour and 12 minutes, according to my waiter. For dinner, I chose the beef cheek orecchietti and the salmon. Both needed salt (I always want more salt though) so I had requested a salt shaker. Many reviews say the food is mediocre. I mean, the salmon was cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the sautéed spinach and Israeli couscous- but it is definitely overpriced. The beef cheeks was a decent portion for an appetizer and had a lot of flavor. I would not say the food is mediocre. It's good- it's just hard to reconcile the price. The bread and butter, an extra $6, was sourdough paired with rosemary crackers and room temp whipped butter, which also needed more salt. The cocktail menu looked boring, so I had wine. I enjoyed a Canadian full bodied, packed, Chardonnay. Food came out quick so I was finished eating but stayed to finish the wine and a full revolution. Time your visit so you can see the city before it gets dark. There are many sights to see that are easily recognizable. Enjoy the observation deck after- but maybe see if the bar is open down there so you can have a cocktail over sunset. Check out the gift shop in the lower level on your way out. Their prices were not terrible. And lastly, check out your picture! They sell digital, printed, and combinations of printed/digital. Mine turned out great, so I bought it. I'm such a tourist sometimes hahahaha. A really great experience to enjoy a quiet dinner with an amazing view. Very relaxing.

It was a great experience! The view was spectacular and the food was great too. Our waiter Carlos was also really good. I would definitely do this instead of just going up to the observatory, the difference in price is worth it. After the dinner you can go down to the observatory floor and we did it but after you had spent over an hour looking at the amazing view while you eat, the observatory looks boring.

Was able to dine here with my wife on our recent trip to Toronto. First time to the CN Tower and we wanted to take in the view. We'd eaten at the similar restaurant in the Space Needle in Seattle and enjoyed that, so decided to come here. To get it out of the way, as a restaurant this place is way overpriced for what you get. However, you should be going in there hopefully that, because the only reason you eat here is for the view, and you're getting the normally $45 ride to the top as part of the overall experience. And for enjoying the CN Tower, this is much better than just going to the observation deck where it's noisy, loud, and crowded with a bunch of kids running around. In the restaurant you can get a table next to a window, and spend an hour at your leisure taking in the view as you rotate the full 360 degrees around. It's magnificent. As a restaurant it's perfectly fine. I had the prime rib, and it was nicely seasoned and nicely cooked. The meat is not at the quality of a high-end prime steakhouse, but I wouldn't expect that at this price. The bread course was worth the extra few dollars - there were three varieties of bread and all were good. My partner had the salmon and enjoyed it as well. Overall, I would never go back here for the food, but I would recommend it if you want to really enjoy the CN tower's amazing view.
The view at the CN tower restaurant is absolutely
The view at the CN tower restaurant is absolutely breathtaking, especially during the night time with high visibility of the city. It is the best dinner location if you want a good atmosphere and a gorgeous view. However, I cannot say the same to the food they offer. Don't get me wrong, the food they offer is decent, however, compared to the amazing view and the price they charge, I was some what disappointed. I would recommend for only first time goers for the experience, or atmosphere chasers, but if you are looking for fine dining experience I would suggest many other locations especially in the downtown area.
Fabulous.
We were visiting and looking for a lunch spot...this was it! The views were spectacular, the wine selection was good, all of the food was tasty and looked just as good. It was a peaceful and a relaxing way to take in the sights...worst part was the elevator ride up!

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!

Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.

Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
